"Lovely setting. Very friendly staff. Food was fantastic. Would stay again."

"Very friendly owners, liked the history of the house."

"It was located in a quiet historic village. The room was nice . Comfy bed , nice shower and bathroom. An Excellent full breakfast! And all for a very good price! 🙂"

"Nice good sized room and very clean. Great staff and a good selection of food."

"The breakfast was superb. It was so nice having a breakfast that was individually cooked and delivered to the table hot. The property is old and the floor in my room was at a slight incline. Not a problem at all but I did describe it as being like the house in the film of The Ladykillers - and that is with total affection as I love that film. Ate in the restaurant on one evening - good food and a good price. Would recommend!"

"While the stay was just ok, I was disappointed with the support from the hotel team in getting good wifi in room 20. The mobile network was patchy in this place, and on top of that, the wifi in the room was on and off. It disrupted my planned work. Reporting this to the staff did not help. This place would be my last choice next time."

"Ok room for one night. Mid October with 4 degree outside temperature but no heating on. No instructions on heating but seems to be centrally controlled. No thermostat in room. Towel rail switched on and radiator thermostat up to max but still no heating. Very cold. Did not sleep properly. Irritating green safety light in ceiling also kept me awake. ."
