Fantastisk beliggenhed
Et virkelig godt hotel med fantastisk beliggenhed og service. Super god morgenmadsbuffet med lækre friskbagte crossainter mm. Det eneste negative var at sengen meget blød så man sank ned i en fordybning, og vores værelse (nr 633) på tredje sal havde absolute ingen udsigt. Vinduet var ud til en høj hvid mur 1 meter væk fra vinduet, så vi kunne knapt se himlen og værelset var derfor meget mørkt. Dog vejede den fantastiske beliggenhed dog op for dette. Hotellet ligger lige bag Oliver Plunkett Street som er fyldt med hyggelige pubs og lækre restauranter.

The hotel restaurant is really good and it's located in a good area of the city, in front of the riverwalk. The great attraction of the region is Bradley's Castle with is out of town, and I would recommend you to ask the visitors center before booking any tours to the castle, because you can go there on your own with 1/5 of the cost.

Hotel was modern, clean and had nice eating and drinking areas. Parking is tricky but we parked in the nearby carpark. Bed very very comfortable and room nice and quiet at night. Delicious breakfast. Highly recommend this hotel.

The whole three day stay was good from checking in to checking out The room was very nice clean and comfortably. Staff helpful and friendly, overall a very good stay.

At first we received a room not to our liking. The next day they gave us a new one. Were apologetic and we appreciated the help from the staff person who wore glasses with long brown hair (sorry, forgot your name!) She was very accommodating

I don’t know if they even clean the rooms at this property. All the surfaces were sticky, probably from the previous guest. How do they not notice this and not wipe everything down prior to new guests occupying the room?

We stayed at this property last year and it was lovely this year staff were not friendly also disabled entrance door broke got fixed and the next day broke again I did tell staff hotel had gone downhill from last year

I have stayed in most Cork City Hotels over the years, including the other Maldron by Shandon. However, the Maldron South Mall is in my opinion the best. Excellent facilities, staff and location. I look forward to staying at this hotel again.

It’s in the middle of everything; you can walk to pretty much all the cork attractions - and lots of restaurants just in the back! No parking on site though but they do offer discounted parking options

Parking was hard at this hotel. It was quite a trek lugging your big luggage from the parking lot to your hotel.

Check in was a bit frustrating as the lady made it seem like they had no beds for us and we had to "settle" for a 2nd floor room (even thought I had pre-booked). She mentioned the only issue was we had no view, but it was more than that. I believe we were somehow in the alley or parking garage as we heard people throwing away bottles all night. Then we had to listen to chairs scraping (I believe from the restaurant) all evening. Finally, the water heater or pipes were so loud. Every time we used the water there was consistent groaning that woke us up. We also heard other people's water usage all night. The room overall, minus the issues I listed, was nice and clean. The cleaning ladies did great. Average stay.

Great location with everything you need in walking distance. Room was very spacious, clean and tidy. A little annoying that there was no fridge in the room but other than that a great stay!

From airport the hotel is under €20 taxi and from then on in everything in city is easy walkable. Was there for Greyhound meeting and once again cheap taxi trip. Only thing missing in Cork centre was a decent curry house

Great location and very comfortable
Parking is a little awkward given their contract arrangement is with a car park a couple of minutes walk away. The property itself is great. Beautiful rooms, extremely comfortable beds and powerful showers. My only issue was the climate control for the room as the control had been locked out and could only be changed centrally. As a result, the room was a little cooler than I’d have liked especially as it was -5 outside but overall I’m happy to stay here again
