"Wonderful overnight stay with our springer spaniel . Lovely clean and spacious dog friendly room in the Annex with a fabulous view . Set in wonderful grounds with lovely outdoor areas and enjoyed a great circular walk down to the river. All staff were so friendly and the steak for the evening meal was cooked perfectly as was the very generous breakfast . Definitely be back"

"I booked a standard ensuite double room but upgraded to the Tudor Suite. I chose this hotel because it is hundreds of years old, which is something we don’t get to experience much in the USA! "We enjoyed the home very much. It has everything needed in the kitchen (although we didn't cook). Sadly we couldn't use the back garden as weather didn't cooperate. The pictures are accurate with a bit steep staircase to double, single rooms (and bath) with he the other double up a 2nd set of stairs. The neighborhood is quiet and a quick walk to town. The check-in process simple with timely communications with host. We would definitely stay again!"

"Nice big car park. The room was quite small for 155.00 was no bath only a shower that was a wet room And only a shower from the ceiling no separate hand held one. Needs black out curtains and was an emergency light in the room with a green light on, all night. Bit disappointed with breakfast no fried eggs or any for of tomatoes and breakfast was only survived between 8.30 and 9.30 on, a Sunday and only a normal standard toaster. So had a bit of wait for toast"

"This was an amazing cottage. The two large double bedrooms have en suites which was really useful. The bathrooms are lovely and modern whilst the rest of the property maintains its historical charm.
