The room was excellent and very clean, although I had a late checkout which I was more than happy to pay for since we overslept. My partner and I were addressed very rudely by the front desk associate. The moment we awoke, He ran down to the front desk to apologize and see what a late checkout would cost for us. A minute after he left a maid came to our door to ask if we were planning to check out or stay and advised me to call the front desk. I called immediately and the front desk clerk answered with an attitude. I told her which room I was in and wanted to ask what a late checkout would cost and she answered “your brother, husband or whatever he is to you, is here at the front desk asking about it now, I told him there is a $50 late fee and you need to check out right now” I was taken aback by the tone in her voice. It was extremely aggressive and unsettling.
My partner then returned and told me she began to scold him after he apologized for the late checkout out.
I was then charged TWICE for the same late fee.
I loved the hotel and have stayed at this location more than once. I will not be returning after that short but awful experience.
