"It's an old hotel, built in 1859-60, and very well-maintained. It has a charming ambience, and the staff are very polite and helpful. It's a short walk from everything in town. Very comfortable and accommodating. Also contains an excellent restaurant. It will be my first choice when I return to Cedar Key."

"wouldnt stay again. not a good hotel for kids. no tv in the room. also paper thin walls kept us awake. staff is great but the building is falling apart. Our room was so slanted my baby could barely keep her balance."

"Cutest little hotel room I’ve ever rented. Very rustic with a little boutique feel to it. Wait staff were all super nice even though we didn’t have a reservation for the bar- we were able to sneak in for a drink and check out the place. Great location and friendly people! I hope to be back! "

"The hotel was historic and attractive. The weather didn't cooperate very well, but we did enjoy sitting on the porch when the sun peaked out. Our room was attractive and the bed was comfortable but if you have any mobility issues, be aware that you have to use a step stool to get in and out of bed. That wasn't a problem for us, but would have been for some relatives we know. Being from out of state, we didn't realize how much hurricane damage Cedar Key had endured over the last couple of years....

"Very pleasant staff. Everyone was cheerful and made you feel welcomed. We made reservations for dinner in the bar area which was suggested by the staff and it turned out to be very nice.A great place for couples, not so much for families with young children. If you want a romantic get away , this is the place to go."
