"Exactly as advertised! Checkin was a short walk from the pier. You could get a taxi but we walked 10 minutes to see the shops and sights. There is construction of a new home or building next to the hotel during the day. Currently they are removing soil and preparing the foundation. It will be interesting to see if they block the view of the hotel that is comparable to other hotels that are twice the price. "

"I traveled solo to the lodge for a much needed time of rest and recharging. My time at the Banning House did not disappoint. It was incredibly relaxing, quiet and peaceful. I felt at home being able to lounge in any of the many comfy nooks and read. The wine and cheese experience was wonderful and the ability to grab a snack or a refreshment at any time was great.
