This hotel is super convenient to everything, but so are all of them. The design is cool, with a little alleyway of shops/services going down the middle with a cool courtyard, but that makes it really loud in the morning, especially in the 2-queen bed rooms. There’s a coffee shop right outside beneath Room 206, and it opens pretty early, so that kinda sucked. Pretty much everywhere at the hotel seems loud - loud with a/c noise, loud with some work trucks that continuously pull in and pick up/drop off (?) things. It was just loud. So if noise doesn’t bother you, this is a nice hotel, but it will probably deter me from staying there again. Shout out to Vanessa who was awesome. She let us switch rooms for our second night when I told her it was a little noisy. We moved into 303 which was a little quieter and had a way better view (even a peek-a-boo view of the water). Another plus was that the rooms (both of them) were ready earlier than most hotels. Our first room upon arrival was ready when we got there at like 1:30 and the second one was ready while we were spending our day at Descanso Beach Club (rent chairs here - it’s SO worth it). They even moved our luggage to the new room. Breakfast was okay - pastries, bagels, oatmeal, cold cereal, juices, coffee, & fresh fruit. And you can take it down to the cute courtyard to eat. Overall, it was a great couple of days, but I might try a different hotel next time just because of the noise factor.
