Mentioning this to the lady at the reception, she immediately arranged for me to change to another room that was also bigger. My only wish would have been working light at the desk. Besides this I was happy with my stay."

"The Talbot Hotel is in the heart of Stourbridge. It is easy to find with some parking at the back of the Hotel. The staff are very helpful. The rooms are clean and tidy with tea and coffee available in the room. great shower, comfortable double bed, very reasonable price. "The rooms were very inexpensive. They were very small. But clean and the beds were a lot more comfortable than most of the beds I’m finding in the UK. The bathrooms and kitchen were meticulously clean and organized. The kitchen had and oven, stove, microwave, coffee makers and every utensil, pot, pan, or sheet I’d need to cook.
