A one nighter in Guernsey
The decor of the hotel is a bit blandly "current", like they've just gone to Homesense and bought everything there, but our room was comfortable and the shower was good. There was a sign in the bathroom saying that you couldn't drink the tap water, but it didn't clarify whether this meant that you needed to call reception every time you wanted to fill the kettle, or if it only referred to drinking unboiled water. Speaking of the kettle, it didn't work unless you held the lever down, which got very hot. Amusingly, when we were shown to our room, the man helpfully carrying my very empty and small day sack, hung around as if he was expecting a tip! ha. We're not in the States mate, I carried the 20 kilo bag :D Breakfast was good, with a cooked to order breakfast alongside all the usuals on the buffet. The staff at breakfast were great and v attentive. We also ate at the hotel in the evening, and I would recommend going elsewhere as the food was mediocre overall (although the salmon dish was great!) and the staff not particularly switched on.

Lovely hotel and pool
Lovely hotel, they have had a recent refurb and it’s been well done. The staff were excellent, nothing was too much trouble, especially reception. Lovely rooms, beds comfy, just wish they had bigger towels in the bathroom. Lovely big HEATED pool. The only negative we had was the background music, needs re considering!

Visited recently for a 1 week holiday and it’s our 2 children (age 6 and 8). Would highly recommend this hotel. The family suite was great (double bed and sofa bed) with a small kitchenette which was very helpful. Staff very friendly and attentive. Nice breakfast every morning. The real reason for picking this hotel was the heated outdoor pool which was essential for us with our 2 children. They spent several hours each day in the pool. I would suggest the pool (and decking) needs cleaning every day by the staff (not obvious that it was) and I often used the net myself to give it a quick clean before using. We hired a car and the hotel would be a bit remote without one. Plenty of trips into Cobo (beach and restaurants) and St. Peter Port. Overall would definitely return again.

Fabulous hotel. Friendly staff, clean and comforta
My Mum, sister and I spent 2 nights at this fabulous hotel while visiting family on Guernsey. We really can't thank the staff enough for their warm welcome and helpfulness - particularly Tania on reception, who booked taxis for us, and then had to cancel them as no longer needed. The hotel was really great. Very clean and the bedrooms really comfortable. It was very well maintained and the refurbishment in 2017 was still very evident, as the carpet in the hallway looked new. Breakfast was good.

We stayed for 3 nights as part of 3 couples, all in deluxe rooms. The room we were in was very small and had one on the blinds just sat on the rail above the window which fell off hitting my wife on the head. We asked to change rooms to be told that all the rooms were the same size, I pointed out that I had been in 2 other rooms which were both significantly larger, therefore I was either being lied to or the receptionist hadn't been in any of them. I was then shown a standard room, it was twice the size and much better so we moved. We were give a complimentary drink as means of an apology, i don't know if we ever got it as the bill process was chaotic. We asked for all the bills to be split evenly between our 3 rooms, which seemed to cause chaos as bills were over £100 different and 1 room even being charged £30 for a dog they didnt own. The food was ok at best with the Sunday roast beef being the low point, tough is an understatement. The staff were all foreign, which isnt a problem unless you're trying to order food and you find English a problem. The staff did however try very hard, especially Victor the barman, what a star. All in the weekend was a bit disappointing regards the hotel.

Dear Mr Crass, I would like to apologies again if you were not completely satisfied from your stay. We really do our best to make our guests happy. It was a pleasure for us to have you as guests for all the days of your stay and we are thankful for sharing your experience with us. The room you have booked was a Deluxe room and we explained to you on reception that our Deluxe rooms provide the same standard and facilities. After you shared with us on reception your concerns we immediately offer you another room - Triple Standard room ( these rooms are available for 3 persons and they are bigger than the rooms for double occupancy. Also we immediately fixed asked our maintenance to check the blinds in your room and fix them. Regarding the payment in the end, we would like to confirm to you that any bill that was requested to be separate on 3 parts was separated from our bar stuff. Only one of the bills was not, but unfortunately it happens guest just to forget to request that. We supported you as much as we can to fix that for you. Please note that your reservations was not a group reservation but individually booked and guests with cases like that settle their own accounts. If requested on reception upon the stay we always assist to the guests to keep there accounts updated with the method they prefer. All the stuff is thankful for your comment. We hope you also created nice memories around and as we said upon your departure, we really will be happy to welcome you again! Best Regards,

Quiet and Restful Location
The Desk Staff were just wonderful. Being friendly and extremely helpful. Our room was terrific with a very comfortable bed, plus TV, shower and air con that all worked. The restaurant food was first class but the service not the best. There were long waits for breakfast orders to turn up and also long delays between courses during evening meals. Despite food orders being written down, many customers including us often never got what we actually ordered. Perhaps the Chef could not read the Maitre De's handwriting??? Overall, the location and facilities made our stay comfortable and good value for money. We would happily return again.

The service from check in to breakfast was shocking, wrong beds in the room, very helpful staff and very argumentative , raw eggs for breakfast etc the list goes on I would not stop here again.

I had a pop up bed in the first room, so I asked for a room with a desk to do some work. Then the TV didn’t work and the room wasn’t very warm. Nice rooms as in deco ,restaurant was good but wouldn’t stay again.

Lovely Hotel
The only downside to the hotel is our room was a tad small and also the bath towels could be bigger. The rest was lovely - beautifully decorated, super comfy bed and pleasant staff. We had a quick lunch in the bar which was tasty and reasonably priced, service attentive but not overbearing. The area is ideal if you want out of town - a 10 minute walk to the coast and a bus stop a minutes walk away. I would definitely recommend and return - in fact we wanted to book for May bank holiday but its full!

Hôtel rénové, accessible. Idéal en famille
L’hotel est un peu éloigné de st peter port mais bien desservi par le bus qui s’arrête à quelques mètres (ligne 41. Toutes les 15 ou 30 minutes). L’hôtel a été rénové et est très agréable d’autant qu’il est situé dans un joli parc. Nous avons dormi dans une chambre familiale spacieuse (mais les coins enfants et parents sont communicants et ne peuvent pas eee isolés l’un d’en l’autre), très propre, et pourvue d’une kitchenette tout équipée (bouilloire, grille-pain, four, micro ondes, plaques, réfrigérateur). Lit bébé fourni par l’hôtel. La salle de bain était neuve également avec une grande baignoire, et des équipements de qualité. Il y avait un sèche cheveux et un adaptateur. En revanche, l’insonorisation est mauvaise. La piscine est assez grande (mais pas chauffée à ma connaissance), et il est possible de manger sur place au bar ou au restaurant de l'hôtel. Le personnel est accueillant. Bref, avec des enfants et même sans voiture, je vous recommande cet hôtel.

Country charm
Lovely stay in this great hotel. Ideally located for the stunning West coast of the island but yet only a short drive into St Peter Port. The property is surrounded by beautiful gardens. Staff helpful and friendly. The Tudor bar served up tasty, fresh meals, which we sampled several times during the few days we stayed there. A real little gem.

Welcome and relaxed
Very charming, authentic English style hotel. The staff is very helpful (actually we were overbooked by a mistake but they offered us a good solution). The restaurant serves decent breakfasts and decent dinners run by a cheerful and charming host. We felt really relaxed during our stay.
