Todo fue increíble, la habitación es muy comoda y tiene lo necesario, los el restaurante muy rica la comida y precios accesibles, la alberca súper rica. Lo único que no me gusto fue que te quitan el agua una hora antes el día del chekout y eso no permite que puedas disfrutar de ir al mar o alberca y bañarte antes de irte.

Let’s start with, the hotel never answers their phone lines. They only want to communicate through WhatsApp and the conversation restarts of your not answering consistently. This wasn’t helpful because we couldn’t ask questions or get guidance on a pickup from the airport until we were on the plane. We booked a presidential suite to make sure everything was decent such as AC, cleanliness, rodent free and it just wasn’t. It took forever to check into our room and once we checked in, we tried to get ready and shower and in the shower there were insects and goop coming out of the shower head. Once we overcame that, we got ready and went to explore the beach. Beach itself was dirty and smelly, lots of wild dogs everywhere. We went back to our room to find out the power was out, no light and no AC. While we waited we found a lizard in the room and a bunch more lizards right outside the door to the balcony. The door to the balcony does not fully shut, it has cracks in which these slimy little things were getting in. While we were there, we saw a raccoon go inside another room through the roof… that is not okay. There response to these things were that it’s an Island. Yes it’s an island but that doesn’t mean the island has to live in the booked room. We had booked this room for two nights and proceeded to leave after the first night because of how inconsistent this place was. I tried working with Expedia to get a refund on the night we didn’t stay and the hotel declined.

Nice beach destination close to Cartagena. Very good facilities to enjoy the beach and pool, and very good service provided by hotel managers. Suitable for families. Definetely recommended.

We stayed in the family villa with a pool and it was stunning. Really quiet, clean and beautifully designed. Worth the money and regretted we only stayed 2 nights.

Wer einen Ort zur Entspannung nahe Cartagena sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Wir haben fünf tolle Tage hier verbracht. Der Strand ist einfach bezaubernd - weißer Sand, toller Blick auf die Skyline und klares Wasser. Daneben hat uns der Charme der Hotelanlage mit seiner liebevollen Dekoration und den Lichtern überzeugt. Auch unser Zimmer war schön eingerichtet - besonders das bequeme Bett und die Kopfkissen haben uns gefallen. Die Angestellten waren total freundlich und zuvorkommend. An einem Tag hatten wir Probleme mit der Wasserversorgung in unserem Hotelzimmer - das wurde aber schnell behoben und alles lief super. Das Einzige, was uns ein wenig gestört hat, war der Getränke- und Essensservice am Strand. Man musste proaktiv nach einer Bedinung suchen, um etwas zu bestellen. Dies ist jedoch nur ein kleines Detail. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis fanden wir super. Wir haben ungefähr 100 Euro pro Nacht gezahlt und noch einmal etwa 100 Euro pro Tag für Essen und Trinken ausgegeben - und dabei haben wir es uns durchaus gut gehen lassen. Insgesamt hatten wir eine großartige Zeit. Ein herzliches Dankeschön an das gesamte Personal!

If you vacation plans include being in a relaxing place, straying the day with a healthy and delicious breakfast (which is included with your stay), steps from the beach, where beds, towels, drinks are available all day, the Fenix Hotel is the place for you. They can pickup you up at the La Bodeguita port and in 15 minutes you will be in paradise. Soliciting from local vendors is limited, compared to a stay in Cartagena so you have time to enjoy the Sun and the cam waters of the Caribe Sea. The rooms are comfortable and cleaned daily, we stayed at the Melrose suites and love them.we recommend bringing some water bottles and some essentials (sunscreen, toiletries, essencial medications) because you can’t buy them in the island. But have peace of mind that the hotel has drinks (soda, water, wine, beer), snacks (chips and chocolate bars) available for purchase in your room. We loved the jetski ride, the DJ’s and entertainment in the evenings, and if you love animals, the hotel pets, 5 super well behaved dogs and 2 sweet cats. The Fenix hotel is a great place to build memories and we would definitely come back!

This is really just a hostel, charging hotel prices. The food was good, the beach is nice but small, with loud music playing 11 hours/day. The only transportation on the island is a motor cycle taxi, with not much to see as per the staff at the hotel. We left a day early, just couldn't take the constant noise any longer. I can't advise anyone to stay there.

The Fenix Beach resort is a beautiful escape from the hustle and bustle of downtown Cartagena. It feels secluded and provides instant relaxation. The rooms and bungalows are unique and elegantly rustic. My only recommendation would be to have complimentary bottled water in every room, since the tap water isn't potable.

I've been traveling South America for two weeks and wanted a quiet resort on the beach to relax a few days. This was the perfect place. It is very quiet and right on the beach with cabanas and bar service. The food at the restaurant was amazing. The weekend was more of a party vibe than during the week. I am already planning my trip back.

Great for a few days relaxation
Beautiful hotel on a little island just outside cartagena. Nice and open space, lovely beach cabanas. Service was really poor at first, but when we told them they stepped up their game. Wi-Fi was on-and-off.

Es un hotel con lindo diseño y comida deliciosa, sin embargo, dan mayor prioridad y privilegios a quien va de pasadía que a los huéspedes que pagan tarifa total por más de un día, la playa reservada para huéspedes está lleno de coral, piedras que impiden el acceso al mar y más si son niños( el espacio de pasadía es muy limpia y no permiten el uso de huéspedes ), los días 27 y 28 de dic no se tuvo servicio de energía en la habitación, no cambiaron las toallas en nuestro hospedaje y hay muchos vendedores ambulantes, que sientan/acuestan en los espacios de descanso del mar.

First, they gave us the wrong room and were not honest or apologetic about it. They promised to give us the right room on the third day of the trip - when it was no longer occupied. They kept telling us different stories about why our room wasn’t like the room advertised. Then, we were without electricity from 10AM-6:30PM on the fourth day. It was quite scary of an experience because it was pitch black out and we weren’t getting any updates from the hotel staff. They promised the electricity would be back on by 5 but then they just kept saying, “it’ll just be 15 minutes”. It was 97 degrees that day and we had no fans or no ac all day. Also, there is very loud music that blasts all day and night that you hear in your room. It was very hard to get used to it and to fall asleep the first night.

Lo único que considero son las salidas y entradas al hotel frente al check-in y check-out, puesto que las esperas al ingresar como al salir del hotel son un poco extensas y si bien se puede esperar en cualquier instalación del hotel aún faltaría alguna en donde se pueda uno cambiar de ropa.

En general bien, la habitación que nos dieron era algo ruidosa, pero te adaptas. Quizás falla un poco el proceso de checking porque no tuvimos mucha información, como por ejemplo que el hotel no tiene agua caliente en la mayoría de las habitaciones
