The rooms were clean and comfortable. The hotel grounds were peaceful with opportunities to see wildlife . The staff were kind and helpful.

Beautiful property surrounded by jungle next to the ocean. Great pool, friendly staff. Buildings could use some work, no hot water. Walkable to a small beach and across from a good restaurant. Down a very bumpy road.

Wonderful host.lovely setting on the ocean It is rocky but beaches are very nearby. Near a wonderful National park on the coast. The hotel was quiet . We were offered an individually cooked breakfast for 6 $ extra.We spent two nights there and enjoyed watching birds and agouti and seeing the lovely gardens.

Property conditions are not good and it is too old. It needs renewal. Hot water doesn’t come out enough time. The shower is difficult to use. Hand soap is out of order so I had to use shampoo to wash my hands.

Kein Luxus, jedoch für den Preis nichts zu meckern
Für den günstigen Preis war die Unterkunft sehr gut! Man darf keinen Luxus erwarten, aber alles war sauber und das Bett riesig und bequem. Eine Klimaanlage gibt's ebenfalls und einen kleinen Pool. Liegt direkt am Meer, jedoch eher schlecht darin zu schwimmen wegen Steinen. Einzig negative war der Stromausfall am Abreisetag aber da kann das Hotel nichts dafür. Gerne wieder!

Loved Hotel La Diosa, just as advertised. In the jungle with pool where a sloth and her baby were hanging out, short walk to long sand beach.And the staff were amazing.

Hotel con todo lo necesario para pasar un buen rato y con buen servicio de los encargados de recepción. El lugar en sí indica estar “frente a la playa” y, en efecto, tiene una playa al frente, pero por el terreno no es accesible, entonces es importante denotar esto. Hay mucha fauna en los alrededores, por lo que podrán observar diversos animales rondando por el hotel

This hotel was such a surprise, so cute with beautiful gardens and a big swimming pool to refresh in. The room itself was basic and very dark but we slept well ( hard mattress) and the air worked well. We stayed two nights and would stay again but will make sure this time that no renovation ms would be happening next door with hammering at 7:15 in the morning and all day .

The hotel is best for couples. The room that I had was aged as were the facilities. But for my wife and I they were adequate enough. The beauty in it was the natural fauna in and around the hotel. Our room was maybe 100 feet from the ocean and one heard the surf in the hotel grounds. We enjoyed our stay.

This hotel was a great start to our trip to Costa Rica. The facilities were basic but good. No complaints. Staff were friendly and helpful. It is a little further from the town than we would have ideally liked and would certainly recommend a taxi back if you walk to the town in the heat of the day. Close to the beach and a great family run restaurant is just outside the gate.

Der Pool war schön. Das Zimmer war eher eng und unpraktisch eingerichtet ( Wände nicht bis an die Decke auch bei der Toilette ). Das Frühstück war für die 6 Dollar nicht so gut. Das Hotel war ein bisschen abgelegen. Zu Fuss nach Cahuita ist zu weit.

The hotel itself is comfortable. The room was spacious as was the bathroom. The exterior is very lush and the beach front is beautiful but the waves were too strong to swim. I was unable to get hot water for a shower. The hotel is quite a ways from Cahuita so if you don't have a car it is a $5 USD taxi ride to town. They have bikes on the property but charge you to use them. Besides a restaurant across the street there is nothing close by. The trips back and forth add up.

What a lovely spot
We loved the vibe at the Hotel La Diosa. The location is gorgeous: as you sit by the pool, you can look through the trees to the Caribbean, and there are often sloths in the trees and agoutis running around the lovely gardens. A short walk down the road is a path to the beach (Playa Grande) - the rip currents make swimming dangerous but you can walk for miles along the sand. Our bungalow fitted our family of four nicely. The A/C didn't look big enough to cool the whole unit but it actually worked very well. The owner is very amiable. As a bonus, the Restaurant Bananas over the road serves some of the best traditional Costa Rican food we found anywhere.

I loved our stay at Hotel La Diosa. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. It was the perfect place to get away from it all - almost. They had wi-fi so we could keep in touch with the outside world as needed as cell phone service was spotty along the coast. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. We had our own private beach and it was just a 2-minute walk to Playa Cahuita. A hammock on the porch, more sloths seen there than on the tour we went on, and a garden paradise meant that we could have enjoyed our entire stay without needing to leave the grounds. Cahuita and the national park were just a short drive away, so we could do all the tourist trap things in a small town setting. Our best memories of Costa Rica were right there at Hotel La Diosa.

A nice enough stay and beautiful views of the Atlantic Ocean. It was a short stay--we got there later than expected and left early the next morning. There were two beds--one was fine and the other had a small problem with ants (understandable for the location).

Es un lugar increíble, en nuestro caso reservamos una casita que tenía jacuzzi, una cama enorme, baño, y terraza con amaca. Rodeado de naturaleza, por las mañanas en el camino a la habitacion podían verse ranas y otros animales. Cerca de parques nacionales y de locales para comer. Trabajadores muy simpático, nos ayudaron y recomendaron para nuestro viaje. Salimos encantados.

Es una historia demasiada extraña para ser cierta. Dicen que por la noche se fueron al supermercado un rato y cuando regresaron les habían robado en la habitación los papeles del bolso de la mamá. Pero no reportan eso ni a nosotros ni a la policia. Luego en la mañana van tranquilamente a la playa y cuando regresan a las 10 am supuestamente les habían robado además un teléfono que estaba en el nochero. Ahora sí, nos culpen a nosotros que nosotros les hemos robado. Aunque primero dicen que les habían robado en el supermercado luego cambian la historia a que nosotros les hemos robado. Viene la policía y no se encuentra nada forzado ni ningún rasgo de un robo. Una historia muy poco creible más que todo que en nuestro hotel no se ha perdido ni una aguja a un huésped en todos estos años.

La piscina y los jardines estaban muy bien. Las camas están muy bien también. No dan desayuno, como decía en la página de Expedia. En la habitación había cucas, comején y el agua e la ducha goteaba

Gracias por tomarse el tiempo y escribir una reseña y contarnos de unos inconvenientes que había percatado. Ya se han arreglado. Acerca del desayuno se dice con claridad en la reservación que no hay servicio de desayuno disponible. Desde que se inició la pandemia no estamos ofreciendo el desayuno. Tal vez se confundió con reseñas o fotos anteriores cuando habíamos servido desayuno.

Scarsa la pulizia. La jacuzzi in stanza era sporca e per riempirla ci voleva un'eternità. Arredamento molto povero. Il bar non era operativo e all'arrivo ci é stato detto che non offrivano il servizio di colazione nonostante fosse incluso nella tariffa. Bello il giardino e la parte esterna.
