For context, we’ve been renting in this complex for 4 years enjoying a different condo every year. We stayed here for 36 days. First the positive. We obviously like the area because it’s so great, the pool, the small beach, the availability of restaurants, pharmacy and clinic nearby is awesome. The condo itself is nice; the bed is comfortable with high quality linens and towels. The appliances are excellent. It is clean (we also had cleaning service weekly that we paid for) and very, very bright. The view from the balcony is fantastic. The BBQ is top notch and fairly new. We also enjoyed the nice beach chairs and towels daily.Now what we liked a little less. The check-in process is outdated, waiting for the host to bring a key is less than ideal and it’s certainly not the norm in 2026. It’s probably because the front door is old with a broken keypad, and I’m guessing, the owner refuses to fix or replace it. Other reviewers mentioned it as well. The door doesn’t close without having to lock it. The bathroom door stuck to the floor, you need to push hard to close it, which created a loud noise, not ideal in the middle of the night. The coffee machine was initially so old that it would take an hour to make a pot of coffee. Luckily, Carolina replaced it immediately after we mentioned it. The night tables are shaky and can fall easily when the drawers are opened, not too safe. Talking about safe there isn’t one so no place to lock up your passport and/or money. Also,
