It was a little unexpected that no shampoo or shower gel was provided, but there are plenty of stores within easy driving distance to buy anything you need. "We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful, little cottage! It was super clean, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and relaxing! You can tell the host put a lot of thought into making the place feel cozy and welcoming. It was quiet and peaceful while only being a very short drive from town. It was our first time visiting Kaslo and can’t wait to go back. We would love to stay here again!"

"This rental is located in a rural setting, which is just what we were looking for. The view out of every window was like looking at the canopy of trees surrounding us. The welcome champagne and chocolates were a nice treat. It is a good location to use as a base for visiting several parks, hikes, waterfalls and Qualicum Beach. "While biking around Vancouver islands some friends and I stayed at this property. The host Belinda was amazing and really helped us out by picking up groceries for us!!We loved the dock where we enjoyed the lake. One caution if you are on bikes there are steep stairs that you have to carry your bike down and up, we worked in pairs and got it done "

"This a is a quiet beautiful spot, well out of the way of the busy parts of the Island. It’s more like a 13-15 min drive to get into Ganges. Lots of deer around so keep your dog on a leash. Air conditioning works well when needed. Living/dining area is spacious as is loft bedroom upstairs."
