Welcome to the Chief and Churchill! A thoughtfully renovated two-story barn at the foot of Cape Blomidon. Offering
an inspired mix of 1940’s nostalgia and new, we can sleep four and offers your own British style pub, movie theater... all nestled in one the most beautiful places in the world! Access to biking and hiking trails, beaches, Blomidon Provincial Park. A private escape located less than 1.5 hours from Halifax, and 25 mins from Wolfville. Our Hogwarts universe bedroom will also amaze.
The space
Nestled in heart of Cape Blomidon in the stunning Annapolis Valley, the Chief and Churchill offers complete privacy in a beautifully renovated barn built for entertaining and relaxation. Within walking distance of beach access and 3.5km from the entrance of Blomidon Provincial Park, you’ll be able to gaze light pollution-free at the stars overhead.

The Chief and Churchill can be found 1.5 hours from Halifax/ the Halifax International Airport, 30km from downtown Wolfville, and 10km from “downtown” Canning (your nearest source for food and drink).

We’ll have you geared up with maps and routes for hikes (the amazing Cape Split is less than 15km away), runs and tips to catch a stunning sunrise over the Bay of Fundy.
Guest access
You’ll be hard pressed to find a more unique space! On the main floor, you’ll have access to a fully equipped pub and movie theater space with seating for 8 (and 5.1 Dolby Surround Sound), a vinyl player, a rock solid vinyl collection and enough wattage to shake the earth like a John Bonham kick drum.
On the top floor of the barn has some fun things including axe throwing but may be out of service due to remodelling the second floor

We're proud to be pet friendly, offer bottomless local coffee, and we've got a modestly stocked fridge with all of your basic condiment needs.
