Summary:
Aqua Sands Studio 2 is a self-contained king studio directly across the road from Little Oneroa Beach and within walking distance of Oneroa Village. Set beneath the owners’ holiday home, it has a private entrance, sheltered patio, kitchenette for light meals, one bathroom, heat pump, streaming-only TV and onsite parking. Wi-Fi can be unreliable and is not suitable for remote work.
The Space:
Aqua Sands Studio 2 is a self-contained studio directly across the road from Little Oneroa Beach.
The studio is located beneath the owners’ holiday home and has its own private entrance and sheltered patio surrounded by greenery.
Inside, the open-plan layout combines the sleeping and living areas, with a king bed and small lounge area. Sliding doors connect the studio directly to the patio.
A heat pump provides heating in winter and cooling during summer.
The television is available for streaming only. There is no free-to-air television, and guests will need to sign in using their own streaming service accounts.
The kitchenette is suitable for preparing breakfasts, snacks and light meals and includes:

Parking
Off-street parking is available onsite.
The parking area for Aqua Sands Studio 2 is at the top of a steep driveway. There is room to turn a vehicle around at the top using a three-point turn.
Guest Access:
There’s parking at the property, and Little Oneroa Beach is just across the road, so no need for shoes.
Check-in is from 2pm, and check-out is 10:30am. Early or late check-out may be available for an additional fee, depending on bookings either side
The Neighborhood:
Aqua Sands Studio 2 is directly across the road from Little Oneroa Beach.
A local dairy is a short walk from the studio and sells takeaway food, coffee and everyday supplies.
Oneroa Village is within walking distance and has cafés, restaurants, bakeries, shops, galleries and a cinema.
Mudbrick and Cable Bay vineyards and The Heke are accessible by vehicle from the property.
Getting Around:
The Little Oneroa bus stop is a short walk from the studio, with routes running to Oneroa Village, Onetangi, and the Matiatia Ferry Terminal. Buses also stop near all major wineries, making wine tasting easy without a car.
Hire cars, taxis, scooters, and e-bikes are available across the island. On-site parking is provided if you’re bringing a vehicle.
Other Things to Note:
This is a self-catered holiday home, not a fully catered stay. We provide a starter supply of essentials such as toilet paper, coffee, tea, and milk to help you settle in on arrival. Once these starter items have been used, guests are responsible for purchasing any additional supplies needed during their stay.
Beach towels are provided at properties with an available pool or spa. Guests staying at properties without a pool or spa will need to bring their own beach towels.
The internet connection can be unreliable and is not suitable for remote work, video calls or guests who require consistently strong Wi-Fi.
Waiheke Island operates on rainwater tanks, and water is limited, especially during the drier months. Guests must be mindful of water use during their stay.

3 nights on long weekends
