"Communication with the host was great and we really appreciated the early check-in. The house was as pictured - great for 2 or 3 people, but not really enough comfortable seating for more. Very handy to Manukau and a quiet neighbourhood. It's on the flight path but we weren't bothered by that. The beds we used were very comfortable, with extra bedding provided. The shower pressure isn't great but there was plenty of hot water. The main downside and the reason we didn't give 5 stars was the lack...

"Easy check in and check out. Had toilet in garage, and 2 full bathrooms on the 3rd level next to the 2 bedrooms. AC in the living/dining/kitchen (2nd level). AC on the top level was in the hall and hard to reach the bedrooms. Could do with a fan to help circulate the air into the bedrooms. Very basic unit with only 1 medium towel/face cloth per person, and only 2 hand towels. The kitchen had only the basics enough for 4 people, with only 1 tea towel, and dish cloth. Only 2 salt and pepper...

"A lovely and relaxing private place, also nice and cosy, so peaceful and quiet at night. Convenient and easy to get around and not far from your main places around the city. Only two things that I wanted to make feedback on:(1) a small dining suite with at least 1 or 2 chairs in the kitchen area would help a lot,2) the shower is quite narrow so wider built people will not fit comfortably in the shower unless you leave the shower door open.Other than that I would highly recommend this place."

"Very clean, felt high-end quality. Was stressful checking in because there was an issue with the lock code, and I ended up setting off the alarm when trying to enter! But getting the staff on the phone was simple, and they fixed the code within minutes. Minor annoyance, but there was only one tea towel - 2 would be better. Bed was extremely firm, but I'm well aware that it's a matter of taste. Overall felt nice and quiet, good sense of privacy."

"Perfect central location for getting to attractions without the traffic (wknd). Fully equipped kitchen, fantastic shower and towels, and easy check in. Bonus to have a small outdoor area and carpark. We will be back!"

"Unusual communication from the start. Booked through expedia, host was listed as Mei but actually a third party company made contact AFTER the free cancellation period asking for a large deposit. This was highly Unusual but I did my due diligence and they were a real company. On checkout it was confirmed I'd receive my deposit but it has taken well over a month to finally receive the funds. I received 6 emails during our stay with reminders of house rules, checkout procedures and even asking for...
