Our stay could have been so much better, this being a newly renovated building with professional hosts in a great (for us; we know it well and were prepared for the many steps to it) central location. However, it didn’t work for us as holiday makers on an extended (15 night) trip. The advertised amenities (e.g. soap/shampoo; very small) and typical hotel essentials (e.g. toilet paper/linen/towels/bath mat) are - as we found out - a one time only thing, no matter how long your stay is. So if you stay for a few nights, you’re likely to have enough toilet paper (we were initially given only 2) to last you/won’t mind not having fresh linen/towels/mat but since we were there for 15 nights, we did mind; especially as we paid the going nightly rate like everyone else. And although there is a washing machine (i.e. we could possibly wash the linen/towels with one of the 2 laundry pods provided), there is no dryer making that a very inconvenient option; drying clothes let alone sheets/towels on a drying rack in cold weather isn’t easy. Communication with the customer service team is patchy/not hugely helpful/largely inflexible although they did relent after our badgering (with thanks) and provided us with some limited “extras” (a soap, a couple more toilet papers, a sheet and some fresh towels); i.e. still not enough. Thankfully the property is equipped with a vacuum cleaner meaning we could keep things under control as cleaning is also optional and to be paid for as an extra.
