The luxurious, two-bedroom maisonette situated on the second floor, is defined by the Urban Stripes modern and minimalistic style. The spacious Maisonetteis for people seeking a comfortable and well-appointed apartment close to the Acropolis. The Family Maisonette features two separate bedrooms and two bathrooms, split across two floors, suitable for families as well as couples travelling together. One bedroom has a queen-size bed, while the second bedroom offersa split king bed and a fold-up bed, upon request. A fully equipped kitchen, a spacious living room with a dining area, and a 43" TV complete this apartments facilities. A Greek wine selection is available to guests while a baby cot can also be provided upon request.

Would Definitely Recommend

Everything about this property was perfect for our family of five. Prior to arrival, our host helped us get ready for checking in, after hours. And, we’re very communicative throughout our stay. Upon arrival, the sofa bed was already pulled out and made, so everyone had a bed to sleep in. And, the location was perfect! We walked almost everywhere, and were able to see a lot of the “must sees” throughout the city. We were able to wash clothes, which was essential in our 3 week holiday. Although, the property listing noted a dryer, and the property only had a drying rack. It worked out well for us. Check out was just as easy as check-in. I’d highly recommend this listing for your next stay in Athens!

One Night in Athens

Comfortable, modern property, located within a 10 minute walk of the Acropolis. Stayed for one night before boarding a cruise. Property manager helped arrange ground transportation and provided recommendations for dining and rooftop bar with great views.

Fantastic Apartment

This apartment is a real find. Located in the hip Plaka district, close enough to the Acropolis to walk over and then get away when you're done. The apartment is very clean and modern and very well stocked. We checked in late but there was lock box with clear instructions so no issues whatsoever. Beds are very comfortable, A/C works well and the place was quiet given the location. Lots of great restaurants, coffee shops and supermarkets close by. They even had rack of wine with a price list which I thought was a really neat idea, particularly if you were arriving after a long flight and hadn't had a chance to go out and buy anything yet. Lots of great info in the instruction book inside the condo. We used some of the restaurant recos and were very happy. Overall I would rate this a 5 star and would highly recommend. If I went back to Athens I would definitely come back here. Good value for money.

Great location with easy access to major attractions

Great location. Manager was very helpful and a delight to interact with. Apartment had everything we needed. There are multiple units in the building and ours was unfortunately on the second floor without a great view. Overall I would consider staying here on future visit.

Great Location!

The apartment was clean, spacious, nicely decorated and close to everything. We walked all over Athens from there. Staff is in the building to help, and was great to work with. They arranged transportation from the airport, suggested tours and places to see in the city. I would definitely recommend this apartment.

Amazing Location

The apartment was clean and amazingly functional. We stayed for a week and loved the location, good restaurants, amazing bakery just outside the unit, super Gyros and supermarket all within a quick less than five minute walk. The subway stop in a couple of streets away which made it so convenient. We had a surreal view of the Acropolis. The apartment was cleaned every day, we were provided with clean towels which is more like a stay in a hotel then your average VRBO. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. Our flight was delayed by several hours and Joanna waited in her office until almost midnight to hand us the keys and show us the unit. The staff at Urban Stripes could not have treated us better. In my opinion, this is a very good value in a rental space. We will absolutely stay there again if we are fortunate enough to travel back to this beautiful city.

Great location and very comfortable apartment

Without wishing to repeat what others have said, but worth reiterating! The apartment is in a great location (eg: 10 minutes walk from the Acropolis), is very clean and well furnished – comfortable in other words. The added bonus, and one we hadn’t expected, was the help provided by Liana and Kira in the ground floor office – that saved us a lot of time finding a bakery, a supermarket & restaurants for example. We didn’t know what to expect from Athens as none of us had visited before but it is a fantastic city and our family (2 adults and 2 teenage children) had a great time. The food was a definite hit but we also enjoyed the culture & atmosphere as well as the obvious historical sites like the Acropolis. This apartment was a perfect base from which to explore Athens – because it was so comfortable and well located. I have already recommended these apartments to family & friends. We had a wonderful few days in Athens. Thank you to the Urban Stripes team.

Perfect apartment and location when visiting Athens

My family of four traveled to Greece in June/July 2018. We stayed at the Urban Stripes apartment for 3/4 days before traveling to the islands. This apartment was absolutely perfect for our stay! It was very centrally located so that we could walk to all of the major landmarks within 5/10 minutes. It was very clean, modern, air conditioned and had all of the amenities that we needed for my family to stay (with two teenagers) comfortably. Liana and Theoni were always prompt in their responses to me and also helped me find a supermarket and restaurants that suited my family's needs. The management office was located downstairs from the apartment and there was always someone there to help us if we needed it. I truly couldn't give this a higher recommendation. We loved it and were thankful for the help we received!!

Perfect apartment. Perfect hostess.

Everything was wonderful about this apartment. The kitchen is fully stocked if you wish to cook. The den is comfortable. The bedrooms are light and airy. Liana was so friendly and helpful. The night we were leaving for Athens, we received an email that there was a strike in effect for all of the taxis. I emailed Liana and she had a private taxi pick us up at the airport. She made all of our restaurant and tour reservations. The food tour was our favorite. She was available for all of our questions about Athens while we were there as well as before we left. We would definitely recommend this apartment to our friends!

perfekter Aufenthalt in unmittelbarer Nähe zur Akropolis

Nur weiter zu empfehlen! Die Wohnung liegt in einer relativ ruhigen Straße in Richtung Akropolis (Haltestelle Metro bzw. Museum ca. 3 Gehminuten). Top modern ausgestattet, ruhige Schlafzimmer zum Innenhof, eigene Rezeption im Erdgeschoß mit super netten Vermietern, die jederzeit ansprechbar sind. Für einen Athen-Aufenthalt perfekt aufgrund Lage (zentraler geht es kaum, direkt daneben mehrere kleine Supermärkte bzw. Bäckerei), Sauberkeit und Wohnkomfort.

We stayed a couple of nights, and the flat is perfectly located close to everything you will want to see. It is beautifully laid out, very clean and modern, and Irene and crew are the perfect hosts. Could not give a stronger recommendation.

The Perfect Athens Get-Away

Our stay in Irene's beautiful Athens apartment could not have been more pleasant. It is so comfortable, well-equipped and centrally located to many of the sites we wanted to visit, not to mention wonderful restaurants and a super market for the few supplies we needed. It was really difficult to leave when the time came to move on! Best of all, though, was Irene herself. She is a delight, providing a wealth of information on a range of things travellers need to know when they are relative strangers to a new city. And she was very helpful in regard to transfers. We all enjoyed her thoroughly.

Brand new apartment in great location

The 4 of us really enjoyed the apartment, a short walk from the Acropolis, and situated just outside the core tourist area (so less busy and noisy). This is a brand place new with modern amenities, everything works and the master bedroom on second floor provided some privacy. Our teenage kids liked the fact they had their own washroom with shower and their bed could split into 2 twin beds. There is a bakery (Artopoia) one block away great for coffee/breakfast and friendly customer service. Communication and service from apartment management was excellent. We would recommend this apartment and would rent it again.

Beautiful, modern apartment in central Athens

This was the perfect place to end our holiday in Greece. The property is in a great location close to the Acropolis Museum and central to all the other activities in Athens. Within a few minutes walk there are restaurants, bakeries, a small supermarket and shops. The apartment is very modern, tastefully decorated and has all you need for a short stay. Our family of five was very comfortably accommodated and we also appreciated the fact there was a laundry available. Stella was extremely helpful and arranged transfers for us to and from the airport, including one very early the morning. I would highly recommend this property as a place to be based in Athens for any length of time.

Awesome location & easy for travelers!

This apartment is great! It is in an excellent location to get to sights, restaurants and cafes - you really can't go wrong choosing to stay here. The hosts are easy to work with, arrange transfer services for you and give you some insights on the city (what to see, where to eat, drink). The apartment is spacious and clean. The kitchen amenities are light but workable for a light breakfast which is all we used it for after visiting a nearby market. Thanks for the excellent vacation stay!

Modern apartment and perfect location!!!

I recently visited Athens for 3 nights with a friend. This apartment was perfect for our stay!! The apartment has plenty of space, beds are extremely comfortable, water pressure in the shower was awesome, kitchen is well stocked. The location is unbeatable, 10 minute walk to the base of the Acropolis, tons of restaurant options within a 5 minute walk, grocery store 1 block away. We had an early morning flight out of Athens, the owner arranged a taxi for us at 3:45am and he was there waiting for us. I would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone staying in Athens.
