Vi besøgte stedet for anden gang og havde denne gang opgraderet til en suite. Det fortrød vi bestemt ikke. Skønt sted med fin service i restauranten. God komfort i bar og stuer.

A grand heritage site
Such an honor to visit this hotel and its history. Beautiful renovation and very high standard. Wonderful staff and great cousine. What more can you ask for? Put this Pousada on your list when visiting the area - that would be our recomendation.

The building is remarkable and the staff are excellent. It's a very laid back quite feel. Not much to do around the Pousada, but an excellent place to get a bit of rest, recharge and enjoy the local wine. the building is really special.

Eindrucksvolles Hotel in altem Kloster. Hervorragend eingepasst. Alles vom Feinsten. Etwas vom Schuss aber perfekt zum Relaxen. Bei den Kochkünsten hapert es allerdings ein wenig. Der Service erscheint ein wenig übertrieben.

Gute Lage für Besichtigung in Nordportugal
ehemaliges Kloster; historische Atmosphäre, sehr ländliche Lage; bis nach Braga sind es 40 Minuten , daher sollte man im Hotel auch zu Abend essen (sehr schöne Räumlichkeit). Zimmer ist einfach ausgestattet.

以前の建物の風格を残しつつ、美しくデザインされてホテルに改修されている。ホテル内のレストランの料理は地域性を意識したメニューを含み、美味しい。朝食のビュッフェも盛り沢山の食材である。又訪れたい。

Amazing property. Front desk staff was underwhelming; felt like we were imposing on them. The staff in the hotel was just the opposite, though, and very welcoming. We came for the uniqueness of the property and that fully met our expectations. Not much to do in the immediate local area, but good hiking nearby.

Hotel is a bit isolated/difficult to get to but worth the effort. Located in a very small village. Not too far from Braga which is worth visiting. Also not very far from Porto airport.

Ein Kraft-Ort
Das ehemalige Kloster sendet Ruhe und Kraft aus. Es ist wunderbar, durch die Gänge und Hallen zu laufen oder im Kreuzgang auszuruhen. Die Zimmer sind optisch eher einfach aber gediegen eingerichtet, was perfekt zum Ambiente passt. So hat es auch eine Klimaanlage oder die Minibar ist in der Wand hinter einem Bild versteckt. Das Badezimmer ist auch gut ausgestattet. Wir empfehlen, im Kloster zu essen; die Küche ist fabelhaft und das Ambiente einmalig. Das Frühstück ist sehr reichhaltig und lässt keine Wünsche übrig. Das Personal ist nett und hilfsbereit. Die Garten- und Poolanlage ist ebenfalls sehr schön.

According to the website I had reserved a room with a double bed and two single beds. The room we got was nothing like that. It was very small with a temporary single bed very small, and not adequate size for an adult. When I talked to the hotel about it, they told me that there is not a room with the two single beds and a double bed. If that is the case, the Expedia site was incorrect.

A great stay at an amazing hotel. The hotel and grounds of this converted monastery are magical. The food at the restaurant was delicious (breakfast and dinner). The hotel staff was very professional and helpful. The room was modern, clean and luxurious. At the time of our visit the only other restaurant is about a 10km drive in the event you don't want to eat at the hotel. A great place for a special occasion or just to experience something very different.

Das Kloster als Location ist unschlagbar, die Zimmer wirken jedoch sehr abgenutzt. Der Service war sehr zurückhaltend bis desinteressiert. Und wir haben nachts kein Auge zugemacht, da die Hunde in der Nachbarschaft und die gepflasterte Dorfstraße einen Höllenlärm verursachen.

My fiancee and I just came back from this little Paradise, knowing that we will be back very soon. From the GM, Ms. Pinto to Nino at Front Desk and the team all around the Hotel, everybody ensured that everything was perfect... Congratulations!!! Beautiful accommodation and grounds in a historic monastery. Service was fantastic. Food was excellent. Parking was plentiful and free. Town is pretty convenient: it has a couple of restaurants, convenience stores and bars and is close to the Peneda-Geres National Park.
