I took this photo at Kleopatra Beach in Alanya, Turkey. Such a beautiful sunset moment! his was one of my favorite moments in Turkey :). I love how the light shined down on the sea. And the beautiful silhouetted landscape. And of course the idyllic ship. Kleopatra Beach is arguably the most popular beach in Alanya, but it wasn't too crowded at this time. I definitely felt peace there! The most iconic view of Alanya is actually to the left, not shown in this photo. It's a quite beautiful rocky cliff. I've posted that view on Trover :). I took this photo in June 2018.

The Kızıl Kule (Red Tower) is a 13th-century tower in the Turkish city of Alanya. Part of Alanya Castle, the tower is considered to be the symbol of the city. And it's definitely one of the most impressive sights in Alanya :). One of my highlights of Summer 2018! And more about the Red Tower: Being one of the unique examples of the medieval Mediterranean defense structure from 13th century, Red Tower was built by order of Alaeddin Keyqubad I, the Seljuk ruler, to Ebu Ali Reha el Kettani who was a master builder from Aleppo in order to protect harbor, shipyard and Alanya Castle against attacks from the sea. And the castle was built on the remnants of earlier Byzantine era and Roman era fortifications.

I took this photo in Alanya, Turkey last June! It's a great view from the Alanya Castle walls! I loved walking by and seeing the beautiful, colorful sea. And the great Taurus Mountains in the distance. And all the lovely boats passing by. It was a very hot summer day, but the views made it worthwhile. And the sense of adventure! :)

Først en meget venlig modtagelse. Værelset var super og meget rent. Tilfreds med balkon ud mod "gården" da de graver Atatürk vejen op pga gas mm. Så undgik alt larm derfra. Bestilte tyrkisk morgenmad der var super og intet manglede. Kommer gerne igen.
