Good hotel experience in Abuja
I stayed 4 nights at the Transcorp Hilton in Abuja and this was a very pleasant experience. Good service is provided and there is a nice variety of good restaurants on the premises. I would personally evaluate the Transcorp Hilton to be the best hotel in Abuja.

This hotel is one of the best in Abuja. The GYM here is Super and the pool area is also good. Service is not very good is you normally only travel in Europe but for Africa standart it is OK.

Hotel Stay
The stay was not the best. Here were the following issues that occurred during our stay: 1. We checked in 50 minutes after the check-in time (3:00 p.m.) and we waited nearly 50 minutes until we received a room. This was after we checked with the receptionist multiple times. There was an event we were supposed to attend by 5:00 p.m., and we were late for it. Also the room was subpar compared to what we have had in the past. It was quite outdated. 2. Later in the evening, I ordered food and when it was time to pay, the hotel said that I could not apply it to my room. This was an issue since I had no cash at the moment and the card reader for the credit card did not work. After nearly an hour and a half of trying to pay, the owner eventually mentioned I could pay it the following day. 3. When attending breakfast, we were informed that the meal was not complimentary, so as guests we lost 15 minutes proving to members at the hotel that our meal was complimentary. 4. After checking something from our vehicle, we returned and a security officer harassed us that we were not guests at the hotel.

Another superb Hilton experience
It was a great stay at the Transcorp Hilton again. The rooms were comfortable, and the breakfast spread a delight! Abigail John, the receptionist was above board and very professional.

Hotel rooms and facilities are very good, but the attitude of check in staff were rude and unprofessional. After the check in process and collecting money for the whole stay, period we were informed that no rooms available and we have to wait for half an hour, but we needed up waiting for almost two hours.

I stayed 3 nights and going back for more. It’s more like a resort. It’s clean, updated and food at different restaurants was great. Banks and shopping centers. Had complimentary breakfasts for two was a surprise. Trans corp Hilton is family friendly. It was a wonderful stay with holiday decorations.

Essentials for use is not distributed with coordination. I booked room for 2, I & my wife. One towel was be kept in the room. I made several calls and it took over two hours to send us a 2nd one. One bath gel is kept for two persons each day of our stay for night and morning bath. Doesn't make sense to me.
