"The hotel was super convenient for long transit flight and very easy to find. We had the view to the famous teddy bear and the room was big and spacious. They had a pool and jacuzzi area with was really nice as well. Unfortunately due to sickness, we had to extend our stay with one day and during this time the hotel staff was very professional and supportive with any needs of ours. Would stay here again. "

"Ok hotel ikke alt for langt fra lufthavnen, de har utroligt mange restauranter og barer på hotellet. Da jeg et guld på hotel.com blev jeg gratis opgraderet til et større værelse, det var super dejligt. Men som overalt i Qatar er alkohol helt vildt dyrt. Ellers syntes jeg man får meget hotel for pengene her."

"Amazing stay at the very nice hotel. The island is perfect, the service is top level and the beach is very nice with fresh towels and water. The restaurants are also very nice. It was perhaps a bit noisy from the other hotel rooms at night, and it could have been nice to have the menu cards from the different restaurants at hotel rooms."

"The hotel is ok, but I expected more, since I have stayed at St. Regis in several different countries, where the quality and service are significantly better. I would not recommend the hotel if you are looking for luxury, because that is not really what you get here. Spend the money at one of the other wonderful hotels in the city - there are many of them."

"We had a three night stay in Doha and this hotel is like all the other in the chain, simple rooms, a decent but ordinarily breakfast and that’s about it. It is close to the National Museum which is handy if you wish to walk in the heat."

"Enjoyable stay. Big and spacious room on the 25th floor with a nice view. Ekstremely friendly personel. Specially the one who grated us first, Hamza. Children friendly stay and hotel. The staff helps with every small request. We will definetly be back next time in Doha. The only thing which is not something the hotel can do about, but would be a good info for families is that the sun in the pool is only around from 9/10 am until 12. Not that many hours unfortunately. "

"I just returned to the UK after staying at this hotel and what a lovely place to stay. Where do i start… customer service for me is an absolute. The staff at this location were amazing….each and everyone of them…always smiling and willing to help. Some staff to mention include the tall security man as you walk in (sorry i didnt get his name but he was on duty on Sun night), to Emna the lady working at the coffee shop located on the ground floor. I travelled to Doha with my sister and my 8 year...

"The Souq Waqif Boutique Hotels are a series 8-9 of hotels all in one. We stayed at Al-Mirqab and although we were a bit surprised as we didn't know of the multiple hotel system prior to our stay, the staff were all so nice and helped us a lot in terms of our stay. Overall a fresh and new concept which we ended up loving quite a lot. The staff were all so so nice, we specifically want to thank Saleem (our solid coffee expert) and Anwar, also so so many other of the staff whom I cannot remember the names of. Our stay was quite nice, I definitely recommend Al-mirqab and transportation to Al-Bidda where we had our breakfast wasn't so bad at all, we had lots of fun using the golf-car to and fro. 10/10 highly recommend if you want to experience more of Doha. "
