The Dham is splendidly built and is well maintained.The first unnoticeable thing about Siddeshwar Dham is the "Gigantic Lord Shiva" statue.

#Lachung - The #picturesque #mountainvillage in the #NorthSikkim is at a height of 9600 ft. and 125 kms from Gangtok. The word Lachung means "small pass" Once it was the trading post between India and Tibet.

Situated on the western border of India and a less commonly known side of the Himalayas as compared to those of Nepal, Sikkim has a wide array of landscapes and astounding untouched views. The hike, while slightly challenging for a novice like me, still provided for an amazing experience of a lifetime. The scared lake at Sikkim India. One of the clean and neat lakes in India. It is believed that even tree leaves are not allowed to float on the surface of the lake. Even if a single leaf float on the surface the birds carry those with them and make sure that the lake is clean.
It is also believed that the shape of the lake looks like the shape of foot of Lord Buddha. It is also knows as wish fulfilling lake.
