"Hotel is near MG marg. Winter green premium rooms have good view of mountain if weather is clear. Hotel has a lift which is very rare in Gangtok. Tamarind restaurant serves very delicious food, bit pricey but quality is worth it. And was served very well by Sajana in restaurant. Buffet breakfast is also nice and had decent variety during our 3 night stay.

"Old place with decent accomodation , well connected with a taxi stand outside the hotel. Rope way is just outside the hotel. Mr Ravi Rai & other staff were very friendly and helpful . They arrange transport for local sightseeing , NathuLa and North Sikkim tour. Overall good value for money."

"We stayed a couple of nights during Feb - Mar 2018. Nice calm hotel with clean rooms and good foods. The hotel staff were really soft and very helpful. The Rooms, that we stayed and the beds were clean and very comfortable.
The bathroom may need a little more enhancement for customer comforts, but genearally acceptable level."

We were told that the building was a guest house for royal guests. The building has 5 floors and each floor has 4-5 rooms, all with a view of the mountains. We stayed at the top floor with access to the terrace. Be aware that there is no elevator. The staff was very friendly and nice. There are no eating places nearby...
