"Lovely hotel, great reception and room service staff. Friendly and very helpful. We had a king size courtyard room which was clean and had a fridge and kettle. Bed was comfortable and shower worked well. Didn't have breakfast so can't comment on that. Parking available at hotel but limited or car park at the Mount School which always had spaces. The walk into York took about 25 minutes. Only small criticism was the bar ran out of drinks including sauvignon white wine. Other than that...

"Great location close to Yorks city centre and the main station. We camel for the National Rail Museum wick was also very vey close. The room was large and comfortable with a huge bathroom. Sadly no view, though. Service from the reception was very neutral, not amazing in any way."

"We loved our stay here! Everywhere was spotless, the room was cozy and the bed comfortable. I loved the pool, and was pleased there was a sauna in the room and that the pool had an in-built jacuzzi.
