"The house was very nice and comfortable for four of us. Even though it rained each day, there is plenty of nearby shopping. We always try to do short term rentals when we travel. A couple of suggestions - the house had no wash cloths, no can opener, no salt & pepper shakers. Towels racks in the bathrooms would be a huge help. The listing indicated a hot tub and 2+ bathrooms. There was no hot tub and two full baths. There was no welcome booklet with local restaurants, points of interest, wifi...

"Grandmas cottage was just as described and really felt like visiting with grandma. The location was superb with an easy access to the trail into town. The views of the water from the porch were astounding. Overall a great stay and will definitely try to be back during the warmer months."

"Great location. Near everything. Karen and John are great hosts and very responsive when needed (not often). House was clean with everything you may need. Groceries, ice cream, takeout are all within 2 miles. Short trip trip to Laconia and Meredith. Loved being on the "no wake" area of the lake since we have a small boat and we could keep it at the dock without worrying about it banging into the dock. Great for fishing. "I enjoyed having this camp for a week. My family lives in Limerick Maine. I live in California so I had a place for them to come hangout with me. The lake is nice people are respectful. I would say what others have previously mentioned that maybe Mr. Carroll might hire a professional cleaning company to help out. I slept on the Queen bed and it was comfortable. I am grateful to have stayed at this camp."

"We spent a lovely restful week at the cottage. It was a great to have the water just steps away, and the available kayaks are a definite bonus! Such a calm, peaceful lake to paddle around on, just big enough with no fear of getting lost. The house had everything we needed and then some, and Scott was a wonderful host, very responsive and made us feel very welcome! Thank you!!"
