"We came for a Change of Command at NAS Whidbey Island and the location was perfectly located between the base and our other events. Being near Deception Pass, we took advantage of going into the park, early morning you could see deer. Both in the park and in the yard. The photos accurately describe the chalet, it is beautiful and rustic. We didn’t cook much but the kitchen was well equipped if you so desired to do so. "What a great getaway house! It is well-appointed, and the kitchen has everything we need. It was great to be able to charge our vehicle at the house. The beach was amazing for long walks, and terrific mountain biking was close by. The house is exactly as presented in the VRBO description, and the owner was easily accessible. We will be back."

"Very cute a-frame in pleasant neighborhood, home is totally private as it is surrounded by beautiful trees and shrubs. Home is very clean and well organized, lots of amenities and I loved that there was no tv though the boys grumbled a little at first (they ended the trip saying it was nice to not have the tv)! Super quick drive to Maxwelton beach. Host is very attentive and kind. Would highly recommend this property if you’re staying on Whidby!"
