"Just returned from a wonderful week at Fort Recovery Beachfront Villas … This property is located on the quiet side of Tortola with spectacular views of St John. Ourwas spotless, comfortable, and steps from the beach. The grounds and pool were clean and clear despite some very windy conditions. "The location is beautiful and the resort is on the beach. We swam every morning in water at 25 degrees. The food is ok and the drinks are great. The staff are friendly but service is a bit slow. There is a pool but it is very small, it is more like a jacuzi. The furniture in the room is quite worn and in the restaurant the table and chairs are plastic, that was disappointing. But we came for the location and that was great. The resort gets visitor groups from cruise ships but there is space...
