Relaxing stay
This is the most perfect place for getting away to unwind. For those wanting peace and quiet, but not far to travel, visiting historical towns and picturesque villages. Lots of nice pubs for food and drink. The cottage is extremely well equipped and spotless. It is everything you see in the photos. Just wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you.

Oak Tree Lodge
This is a spacious, very clean and very well equipped barn in a beautiful and peaceful location. It is not far from Warwick and Henley on Thames, and there is a selection of places to eat out nearby. A very enjoyable stay.

Lovely little home
Oak Tree Lodge is lovely. Peaceful setting and our neighhhhh-bors in the actual barn next door were a treat. Waking up to horses in the pasture behind the lodge was definitely a new experience :). As for the actual lodge, beds and furniture are comfy, appliances work well and WiFi was excellent. We’ll definitely be back!

Great place to stay!
The converted barn is an excellent base for exploring the Warwick area. I have no negatives to mention, but plenty of positives - the accommodation itself, well-equipped kitchen, comfy seating and beds, to name just a few. I would recommend a stay here.

Fabulous Accommodation
Loved the accommodation, nice quiet location and great communication both pre and on arrival with owners. Had most things we needed, the only niggle was there was only one third of a roll of toilet tissue in the main bathroom. Not enough for three nights. Really enjoyed the stay and would love to stay again. Thank you

Relaxing accessible cottage
The owners have created a space where everybody can feel comfortable. People with mobility problems will find the cottage easy to move around. The cottage is well placed to visit the Cotswolds, Warwick , Stratford and many other attractions.

Quiet country house, very comfortable
We had business that took us to Birmingham most days. It was a very reasonable drive to and from the city, and it was lovely to return each night to the quiet countryside. The house is very clean and comfortable, and had all that we needed to cook our own meals. My husband and I would book here again and recommend it to others. Thank you!

Great location close to Stratford Upon Avon and Warwick. Quiet location but good access to major roads. The property itself is modern and spacious with good amenities for four people. Overall, if we were to need to stay in this area again it would be an automatic pick for us.

Short break over half term with the kids.
It was wonderful being in a secluded property, waking up to horses in the field and the calmness of the area. The children loved the open plan area as well as the bedroom with two single beds. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need. We had a really peaceful and restful sleep on the comfortable bed. The ensuite bathroom had a great shower. Thank you for the welcome pack and giving us a wonderful experience.

Quiet autumn half term country break
We really enjoyed our stay at Oak Tree Lodge, which is set in a lovely rural location. It’s great if you like horses as you will find some in the fields abutting the property, whose entrance is shared with stables and an equine centre (not that you would notice as it is an unbelievably quiet location - we hardly saw, let alone heard, a soul). The place is well looked after, both outside and in, and is nicely presented. Check in was also very straightforward with ample instructions provided by the property owner. The open plan kitchen/diner/living space is well suited to families and gives the lodge a spacious feel. This main living area has either lino (in the entrance /kitchen area) or laminate flooring (diner/living room), which is also family friendly, particularly if you have younger children. It was also nice and clean on arrival and was easy to keep clean during our stay. Both bedrooms are a good size too, particularly the master, and have plenty of storage space. Both bathrooms, one of which is en suite to the master bedroom, have decent sized showers. The kitchen is easy to work in and has a washer/dryer, a small fridge and dishwasher, microwave and a small freezer (we only used the dishwasher and fridge but everything looked straightforward enough to use and instructions were provided). The kitchen has an electric hob (not sure if it was halogen or induction), which takes a little bit of getting used to (we use gas at home) but it was easy to wipe clean and was fine as long as you keep an eye on it and adjust the settings until you’re happy. Overall, Oak Tree Lodge is a lovely place in a quiet country location, well suited to families or couples, which is clean and well equipped, with no shortage of things to do in the surrounding area. We would happily come again.

Beautiful
Oak Tree Lodge exceeded all our expectations, very clean, comfortable and roomy accommodation with everything one needs. The surrounding countryside was beautiful and it’s location is perfect for visiting Warwickshire and The Cotswolds. Absolutely fabulous and waking to see the horses in the field every morning was lovely.

Great stay and great location
We had a wonderful stay here. It was very clean and well maintained and fitted to a high spec. The welcome pack was indeed welcome and with all the little touches meant the hosts really do think of everything and care about their guests! The location was ideal for walking, geocaching and exploring Warwick and Stratford upon Avon. The Red Lion was a great pub with fantastic food and only a short walk away. We also visited The Denham Ox for dinner which was equally as good and only a short drive away. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Really lovely cottage and very good communication from the owners
The cottage was as presented in the pictures and in the reviews: clean, well laid-out, well equipped, very friendly hosts, and tons to do in the area. This was our first family break in over 18 months, and this cottage was exactly what we were looking for - a nice, quiet place to use as a base for exploring the surrounding areas. The cottage was spacious and comfortable enough for the four of us to enjoy. We had some rainy days, so we came back early and cooked dinner in the cottage (having arranged a Sainsbury's delivery). The visitor's book had loads of suggestions for food and had take away menus available - such a shame I saw only after we had a sub-standard delivery from Just Eat! We didn't have time to explore all the things on our list, so we'll definitely come back to the area again in the near future! Thank you again Tina & Steven for your hospitality.

Excellent!
I cannot fault one single thing about Oak Tree Lodge. It was very clean, absolutely everything we needed in terms of cooking facilities was provided. The location was lovely and was so nice to watch the horses and rabbits. Communication from Tina the owner was excellent with lots of useful information provided in advance of our stay. Oak Tree Lodge is a gorgeous property in a lovely setting. We hope to stay there again in the future and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

What a lovely place!
My husband and I were meeting up with friends for a long weekend and this property was perfect for us. The Lodge was easy to find and is in a lovely peaceful location. Inside everything was spotlessly clean and fully equipped with everything you could need including a much appreciated welcome pack. The main bedroom and en-suite was very spacious with lots of storage space, 2nd bedroom was also a good size. Beds were very comfy and we were pleasantly surprised by the amount of coat hangers (small detail but often overlooked). Lounge area sofas were comfy and the kitchen area was well laid out with plenty of cleaning products provided. Outside space is well kept and very pretty. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t very kind to us so we didn’t make use of the outside seating or BBQ. Steven popped over to make sure we were okay with the heating not long after we arrived as it had got much cooler - a really thoughtful host! The area is beautiful with lots of pubs and restaurants within striking distance. We had a lovely meal at the Red Lion but didn’t walk as we weren’t comfortable using some of the smaller roads on foot. Also ate at the Crabmill which was just as good. Would definitely recommend this property and want to say a big thank you to Tina and Steven who have obviously put in a lot of work to ensure their guests are comfortable and safe. The attention to detail really shows and our friends who have stayed in lots of self catering properties said it was one of the best they had seen. Hope to visit again in the future.

Lovely country getaway
Had a great few days at the Lodge. Indoors was warm and cozy and we made good use of the outdoor patio, when our family came to see us. It’s such a private and tranquil place surrounded by fields with horses and bunny rabbits. The beds were comfy and it was nice to have the ensuite bathroom, separate from the main bathroom. The kitchen had everything we needed and the welcome pack was very appreciated. It was sad to leave, but we will definitely use this place again.

Fantastic accommodation
Absolutely amazing fully equipped home from home. Three weeks working away from home Tina and Stevens place made long days feel really relaxing to come back to my own space, no one else around and being able to cook my own food. Three smiley horsey faces each day to greet me when I opened the curtains or came back from a run. WiFi was fantastic for catching up on emails. On arrival the lively welcome pack bread, milk and the important bottle of wine was the best. I can’t recommend this home enough and I will be back when next in the area definitely beats weeks in a hotel. Thank you.

A fabulous little place, tucked away in the countryside but within 15-30 mins of Warwickshire and Stratford Open Avon. Very clean, lots of space, comfortable beds and warm. Great showers too! Would definitely recommend it and 100% I’ll be coming back again soon!
