"Great little cabin. Very small but lots of attention to detail and has everything you need. Shower was great - good pressure and nice design. "

"A lovely cozy cottage with spectacular views. The cottage has everything you need for a short or long stay. The kitchen is cook semi-chef level. Heaps to do in the area. Our highlights were hikes to see Falls and Gollum's Cave."

"Heavy frost outside, cosy inside. We had a great Matariki weekend - biked from the house to do the Old Coach Road and also did a walk up the mountain. House was very warm and beds so comfortable. I bought a few more wine glasses for the recycling centre to top up the supply Cheers"

"Had a great time relaxing here over the weekend, location was perfect for those of was wanting a trip up the mountain and the spa was there for those who wanted to stay in the warmth. The only issue we had was bookabatch not informing us of the code to access the house, we had to call the help centre for crucial info. Wasnt a dealbreaker though, we will definitely stay again given the chamce. "

"Beautiful place to stay, and I have stay in some of the best places and this is one of them, it’s got everything that we needed, location is great, parking space is awesome, books and games for the family was well thought off, the laundry dry room was amazing, nice touch to the place, very clean and spacious for everyone, we just love this place, closer to the shops and beautiful walks and scenery all around this lovely little town, and the people are friendly. We will be back again."

"Raetihi was an excellent place to unwind and connect. The beautiful rural property was glorious at all times of the day. The fireplace warm and inviting. A lot of fun was had toasting marshmallows on the fire pit and soaking in the Hot Tub."

"Great location great value cozy and cute. Can’t beat the price and I was so happy the place was warmed up upon our arrival. We had a few blown light bulbs but they were fixed ASAP. The accomodation is basic so bring your own soap etc. Loved the stay and would stay again. "

"Ok but cramped"

"We were 3 generations meeting for a long weekend. Our first group arrived well after dark on a cold night. The lights had been put on, as had heaters in all the rooms, it was so lovely not having to fumble around for lights in the cold. The house was perfect for our group. Lovely wood burner and plenty of wood. Beautiful view of the mountain when the clouds cleared."

"Great location, lovely property and plenty of room for three couples. Would have been better if there was a drier (we had a couple of wet days) but we managed. Overall a very good place. Walked or cycled everywhere."

"The property had everything we required for our weekend, the kitchen dishes and glasses selection was fantastic "

"While staying at the bellow Bach we realised the property has wasps inside the house. Huge wasps. One guest was stung in bed from a wasp, I myself am allergic to wasps. We had to go buy inspect spray as their was none. We killed over 30 wasps inside the house during our two night stay. One guest was so scared they slept inside the car rather than in the property. This property is currently not safe to be rented out."

"Perfect spot for a family getaway. Extended family all fit in nicely. It was really nice having the main area, but separate self contained areas on the lower floor."

Rocky Mountain Chalets

10/10 Fremragende

"Super cozy chalets located ~10 minutes walk from the center of Ohakune. Two separate bedrooms and a large living room provides a great setting for down-time if you need a break from exploring the gorgeous surroundings. The chalet has a functional kitchen, but Ohakune has an excellent selection of restaurants for people who - like us - are too lazy to cook. We can especially recommend the Mountain Rocks café for breakfast. We were warmly welcomed when we arrived, and given great recommendations of which walks best fit our desires for waterfalls and general fitness. All in all, a terrific experience, and we'll definitely be back!"

"Fine - lots of parking space - friendly staff - dinner at the restaurant was fine - breakfast was a bit expensive in relation to the quality. Room was fine."
