"Super cozy chalets located ~10 minutes walk from the center of Ohakune. Two separate bedrooms and a large living room provides a great setting for down-time if you need a break from exploring the gorgeous surroundings. The chalet has a functional kitchen, but Ohakune has an excellent selection of restaurants for people who - like us - are too lazy to cook. We can especially recommend the Mountain Rocks café for breakfast.

"The reservation couldn't be found. So check in took a long time. It took a while to find the place, firstly. By the time we finally got to our room, the door next to our room kept slamming in the wind. I had to prop it open with a table so it wouldn't keep us awake. The other stayers were noisey. Noone told me where the kitchen was, I had to ring reception. And they didn't know. By the time we found it, we were so tired. Ended up eating some chips and going to sleep. Made the reservation through...
"Accomodation was perfect for what we needed. The staff was friendly and there were plenty of ammenities. Everything was clean and tidy and the common areas and rooms were kept to a lovely warmth. The continental breakfast was a nice addition. "
