"My wife and I were traveling to NMU to drop off our daughter and we decided to extend our stay at this property for a couple days. The house was clean and had a great view of the lake. We utilized the kayaks to do some fishing and caught some nice size bass. Host Taylor was easy to deal with and accommodating. "

"This cabin was almost exactly what I was looking for! While we didn’t get a chance to use the fire pit, it looked perfect with lots of wood. The kitchen was exactly what I hoped for and I was able to cook most of our meals during the stay. The only caution I would give is if you have more than 4 adults. You will need to pass through the third bedroom to get to the other two bedrooms and the bathroom. No big deal when you give that to the kids, but would have made an awkward trip if we had mor...

"The remodel of this cabin is gorgeous! The photos in the listing are accurate and authentic. The location is fantastic! It’s about a 2 hour drive, or less, to most locations in the UP, so day trips are very accessible from this cabin.Communication with the property owner was seamless, prompt, and precise. "We started out with one daughter and her family that live in the area. Then they went home and another daughter and her family came to stay. Because the other family lives nearby they came in for some day trips too. We loved the ease of staying, especially check in and check out. Very casual. I’d recommend this place. The location is great too. One fun thing was the comment in the listing that was something about being within sight distance of the lake. Only if you have a drone in your pocket....
