  • Any season is the time to visit; the lake awaits you and the wildlife is plentiful. Hunt, fish, atv, snowmobile and explore the great outdoors all right outside your front door. Outside of town yet close to everything. Enjoy the breweries, restaurants and especially the Palms Book State Park and the “Big Spring”! This 2 bedroom one bath cabin features a large well appointed kitchen.

It was a super cute cabin! The kitchen was well stocked and the bed was comfortable. We didn’t get stay very long and it was cold but we saw some amazing birds!

This was our first experience with an accommodation like this and Mark was an amazing Host. He was always prompt at responding and check-in was effortless. The cabin met our needs, was very quaint and ideal.

Good sized cabin, little walk down to lake. Easy to find, was clean. Good fit for 3 adults (could do 4-6). Good kitchen to prepare food. Good sized living room area with decent seating. If we head up we would rent again.

Cute little cabin for a three night trip to the UP. We enjoyed our time in the UP and this was a great place to stay to travel around to nearby cities like Munising and Marquette. Great for the price and just as described. A bit of a walk to the lake but didn't bother us.

Other than an issue with the coffee maker and some dog poop outside, we had a very enjoyable stay. Very quiet. We even saw some deer the last morning.

Mark's place was great! Lots of extra little touches to make it very welcoming. Mark was easy to communicate with. Checkin was really easy with a lockbox. Make sure you get your lock box code before you leave Manistique - there is no cell phone data at the cabin but the wifi worked great.

The host was awesome, the location was perfect for my adventures and the place was very comfy. I’ll probably be back but with the kiddos, they love Upper Michigan just as much as I do…

Great experience...very clean and supplied everything you might need. Great kitchen, bathroom, bedrooms, living area. Most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. Very comfy. Nice location on the lake. Mark is great, made sure we had everything we needed. Excellent communication. Looking forward to returning soon

Cabin was fully stocked with everything we needed. We spent most of the time on the ice but it was nice cozy place to spend the night.

Mark’s place was exactly what we needed to decompress and relax. Drove thru Chicago for a wedding and decided to take the long way home via the UP. Great decision! Nice hikes, state parks and just beautiful! So cozy and comfortable. Everything we needed was there. Whatever you forgot to pack - no worries - he provided it all.

This cabin is cozy, feels like home and is furnished very well. The host is extremely accommodating, easy to contact and is very polite. I stayed here twice and will certainly book it again. This little place was even decorated for Christmas... It doesn't get any better than that!

Everything was good, older cabin but redone and pretty comfy. The bed was very comfortable. The host went out if his way to make the stay great.The only drawback was I thought it was on the lake and it is not. You have lake access!

Everything was phenomenal! I do have to say a few cons we had was we thought the lake was a bit closer which was sorta misleading but it’s completely on our behalf! The previous people didn’t really cleanup after themselves because there was dog poop outside, which it might of not been them, it could’ve been a neighborhood dog? There was also tiki stands by the lake and beer cans in the fire pit. Besides that, everything was really clean and organized! I would 100% come back again :) thank you for letting us stay, we really enjoyed it!
