"This house was phenomenal and I highly recommend a stay here. The location was relaxing and peaceful, they have trails for short hikes around their property which is surrounded by beautiful rolling hills and farmland. The house itself had everything we needed and even some surprises like fresh bread, butter and homemade jam and a fridge/freezer stocked w items from their farm. It was perfect for our day trip on the Potomac Eagle railway. Thank you, Laura!"

The pups loved the long walks around the neighborhood and to the creek on the back end of the property. The deer are not intimidated and bountiful. Be vigilant. We go to Hillsville every year. "This was such a fantastic stay! We came down from Washington DC suburbs for a long weekend visiting Grayson Highlands State Park. The cabin is an easy 15 minute drive from the park, which gave us such great flexibility because we could wake up early, go to the park and hike for a few hours, come back “home” and reset, and then go back out again for more hiking.The hosts thought of every detail, great and small. " We thoroughtly enjoyed our stay! We were attending a wedding nearby, and I needed a place to finsh up the wedding cake i was asked to make. This property was ideal. The rooms were amply sized, the kitchen was spacious and well appointed. The smart TV was ready to log into. The water got nice and hot, and the open bathroom vanity area made getting ready easy for 4 people. We didn't consider the washer/dryer in our choice of the property, but when we had a clothing emergency it was...

"Cute home close to Concord University. Was nice to go and visit my daughter and cook a meal for her and her friends. The fire pit outback was a great addition. Dog friendly. Owner allowed me to check in early which was very much appreciated after a 6 hour drive. "

"Great communication and ideal location. Was extremely clean and the bed was very comfortable. We only stayed one night and it was perfect. We were traveling from Ohio to the Outer Banks. We will be stopping here each time we make that trek. I would recommend this location to anyone."
