"This place was placed perfectly. Just across the street from a very nice peaceful beach access, as well as a large park for children and dogs. There was an exceptional farmers market on Saturday that had an immense variety of local product and food trucks. The hosts were very responsive and accommodating. My family and I stayed (Grandma 72 years old, aunts and cousins from 6years old to 37, and my mother 52 years old.) I would stay here again."

"We loved the cottage. Perfect location to everything on the island. Was within walking distance to the seafood festival and shops. The screened porch was a nice place to enjoy our morning coffee. The cottage had everything we needed. The bed was super comfy. We highly recommend staying there. We are considering a summer visit and hope the cottage is available if we do."

"This was our second time staying here, with our first being during the summer. The cottage is very clean and overall quite pleasant with a location perfect for bicycling into town and to the beach. However, this cottage really needs heat if it is to be rented during the cooler months. The owner did provide a portable heater at our request, which did warm the place, but was very noisy. Would stay again but only in the warmer weather. "

"This was our first time staying in a place that provided most of what we needed. You can tell that Emily thought about everything that a family would need when being on vacation. We had plenty of towels/washcloths, there was liquid soap & shampoo in the shower. The kitchen had everything in it ☺️ food was the only thing we had to purchase. The laundry room was well stocked. "This was a cozy cottage. Liked the location even though the road construction made the walk to the beach more than 9 mins. The host was very responsive. Also loved the bikes and beach chairs that came with the listing. On the downside the beds were smaller than listed/pictured. The bathroom was also small. Overall this was a great stay💛!"

"Enjoy Don's cottage - the screened in patio was lovely to enjoy coffee and do some light office work. Kitchen had enough of everything to heat or prepare simple meals. Hot water was plentiful and pressure good in the shower. Bed was comfortable. The area is very quiet at night but during the day there is a small business next door that you do hear light people chatter/deliveries. I would say this location is like a modern cabin - just enough of everything but still feels rustic."

"Snug Harbor is simply amazing, and is truly a home away from home. The location is on the water with amazing views of the lighthouse and the poines. There are tiki huts, lawn chairs, etc. for you to enjoy. Basia and Captain John can take you on kayak and boat tours. I highly recommend taking a guided tour as you learn so much history. Our hosts were so committed to us having a great time and went the extra mile so we could see the poines every chance possible. The cottages are comfortable...

"The cottage is cute and very clean. There is a stream that runs through the property. It was peaceful to watch and listen to it from the porches. We spent time at the house and took day trips to Shenandoah National park and Grand Caverns. I would definitely book this same place again."

"My sister-in-law and I had a quick weekend getaway to wine country and this cottage was perfect! We each got our own room and room to spead out comfortably. And a beautiful surprise was a bouquet of fresh flowers waiting for us! Amazing! It was well equipped for cooking (and a very sensitive fire alarm) and the views were gorgeous. We enjoyed cups of coffee every morning overlooking the front. Just perfect!"

"The house was perfect for us since we each had our own room. The kitchen and living room were great for long chats and reminiscing. The location was only a short drive to Colonial Williamsburg so we went all 3 days. We enjoyed the fire pit and ate yummy s’mores! Highly recommend this place!"

"Perfect and economical place to stay right outside of DC. Host was great in communicating with us. He even welcomed us with a box of doughnuts! You can’t beat the wonderful upscale neighborhood with close by shopping and dining options. Close by and walkable metro and Uber travel options."

"My 12 year old son requested we celebrate his birthday here becase the rooms are great, the staff is always helpful, location is perfect, the pool is always clean and heated. It's walking distance to everything at the ocean front so you can park and walk everywhere. Definatelty will be back!"
