"Kim & Ian were terrific hosts and couldn’t do enough for us from the moment we arrived. This include many little welcome gifts to give it that homely touch. The property is probably even better than it reads and we couldn’t have been happier there. Location was great for all things we needed and wanted to do in Blue Mountains. The bonus of Foxtel, smart tv and wifi was great. Comfortable beds and lounges with plenty of blankets, fire place and bathroom floor heating. Kitchen is fully equipped...

"We spent the most magical family Christmas at this beautiful house this year. The house was perfectly styled and appointed (including the most gorgeous Christmas tree). The whole family, including our pugalier, enjoyed every aspect of the house, including the beautiful garden (great for cricket), the pizza oven and the super comfortable beds. Carol was an exceptionally helpful and generous host and we can’t wait to return! "

"Stayed here with my partner for 2 nights. Check in was e-mail communication and that was it (which we prefer). Other reviews say the owner is easy to contact but we never needed to. We weren't familiar with the way the central heating worked at first but once we figured out we had to turn each individual heater on via a dial at the base it was no problem. Heated blankets were nice, enjoyed the use of the fireplace. No complaints! Would gladly stay again."

"Lovely stay at Hillside. Made use of both indoor and outdoor fire. Very clean and tidy. Beds were comfortable and warm. Well stocked kitchen. Would definitely recommend and stay again. Close drive to everywhere. "

We were very satisfied with everything; there is generous space, suitable for diverse groups, and we were able to gather and separate very easily.There is a very pleasant walk that can be accessed via the rear gate and takes you around the lake. "We booked last minute for a quick trip to the Blue Mountains. This property was amazing! The technology within was super cool to play with- too many to list but notable includes the ceiling lighting in the kids room, movie projection TV, music throughout, bathroom tech, and even the automatic salt/pepper shakers. Location was perfect! Wish we could have stayed longer- excellent stay! Thank you for sharing your property!! "
