"You could not be more central in Sitia and yet it’s reasonably quiet. The flat is done up to a high standard, all very new and modern. It’s definitely a studio so I’d recommend more for a short stay than an extended stay. The host was very helpful and friendly so am happy to recommend. "

Si on veut être plus pointilleux, il faudrait ajouter des rideaux occultant dans la chambre et des oreillers plus confortable pour dormir (magnifique/gonfler pour la déco mais pas pratique pour dormir)"

Watching the sunset with a glass of wine at dinner was my favorite part of my Greece trip so far. I’m in love with the place and can’t wait to come back. "We stayed in a premium suite with ocean view balcony. The pools and buildings are very nice, and the staff are plentiful and helpful. But the resort is isolated, and the resort seems to discourage guests from leaving. The "concierge" seemed completely unprepared to help. She could not recommend any restaurants in town, or recommend any tours. She could not help with public transportation or private car service. Our best help came from taxi drivers.
They promoted a "movie night", but would not tell us what the movie would be until that day! Most of the guests appear to be older couples and their adult children, who just plan to lay on the beach and eat.
The "gym" facility was a joke. A small room totally out of scale to the resort.
The slate floor in our room was filthy. Every time we walked on it in bare feet, our feet became black.
The private beach area attracts plastic waste. The sand was covered in plastic trash and plastic was floating in the water. This is a general problem in the Meditteranean today.
Meals were very expensive. The lunch buffet was 41 euro per person. In addition, I arrived to lunch wearing a t-shirt and swimsuit, and was asked to go back to my room and change into shorts. They had no problem with the young woman wearing a thong and mesh cover up.
I expect more for what we paid, at what was presented as a luxury resort."

Ingen Hotels opgradering selvom det specifikt stod i reservationen og der var plads på hotellet.

"Very beautiful place, with a stunning view. Nicely remote so we could spend time on our own, but still close by lovely fishing villages and shopping opportunities. Spacious and clean apartment well connected with the terrace and pool. We will definitely be back. Only challenge was the internet, which makes it difficult to work from there. Finally, Stacia is an excellent host."
