"Staff was amazing. I’ve been in the hotel industry for 20 years, and I tend to be critical in the visible and invisible signs of a good hotel and this property hit them all. The guy at check in (last name Miller) and the young lady I saw multiple times (carts on Sunday, concierge on Monday) were great. They even made remembered my dogs name and commented on my Costal Carolina gear. Hotel was clean and safe. My son loved the pools. Pet friendly was nice, although I wasn’t exactly sure where to...

"Check in was simple and easy, parking is in a lot half a block across the street. Room interior was as described, balcony was tiny, barely enough room for 2 people. Kitchen was very small with almost no counter space. Stove and oven was tricky to figure out as all the markings on the knobs have worn off. Property was ok, small basic pools indoor and out. Good place for 2-3 people max. Access to the beach was good. Overall I'd give it a low 4 overall."

"We just got back on Saturday from a week stay at the Surf Shack. We had a wonderful vacation and the Surf Shack was a great place to stay. The owner responded quickly to any questions we had and the neighbors on both sides were very friendly and offered great recommendations on restaurants. We enjoyed the porch and it was a great place for our dog to hang out since it was fenced in. We will definitely rent the Surf Shack again!!"

"This was a wonderful place to stay. We loved our room, it was very clean. We requested an ocean view and got that, we just had to wait a little while for our room to be ready. Couldn’t beat the price, definitely 5 stars! Hope to stay again in the future."

"This place was so cute and we had a wonderful stay! How awesome is it when a listing is accurate and the place is actually what you expect when you get there?! This place was it. Cozy and quiet and the cool fireplace was just an extra nice touch! The resort it’s in is pretty cool too. Great location. This spot is definitely great for couples!"

"Getaway girls weekend trip it was so nice and boring. Everyone was so kind including the staff. The hotels were very clean. I got a free upgrade to the tower building in oceanfront view. That was very kind of them many stores around the area you can walk to the 10 minute walk from the boardwalk, five minute walk to the beach activities all day. They have a bar at the hotel with good alcoholic beverages, and drinks as well. "
