Alpehytter i Valle d'Aosta

"Pros: Die Lage des Hauses ist wirklich traumhaft, ruhig und mitten in der Natur. Der Gastgeber war sehr freundlich und bemüht, auf unsere Anliegen einzugehen. Cons: Das Chalet liegt landschaftlich wirklich sehr schön und die Gegend ist ruhig und ideal zum Abschalten. Der Besitzer ist sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und war gut erreichbar – auch bei Problemen hat er schnell reagiert und sogar einen Ausgleich angeboten, was ich sehr schätze. Leider entsprach das Haus selbst nicht meinen Erwartungen....

"We were 5 people staying in Chalet @Le Du Coq Rouge' for 5 nights, while skiing in Cervinia. The house was very good overall with plenty of space and we found the location to be very good for us, with the village of Valtournanche within reasonable walking distance and the town of Certvinia around 20 minutes drive."

"parking was easy in front of the chalet and shared this with a restaurant next door. The restaurant is very good serving local dishes. The main floor you enter via the front door is the TV room then the Kitchen bathroom and bedroom is downstairs and upstairs is another full bath and bedroom. Our host was very responsive ."

"This place is dirty, cluttered, poorly equipped and not as described. The 'loft' bedroom has almost no head height, and the window they show has actually been boarded over so it's completely dark. Half the light bulbs did not work, the shower is tiny and the kitchen is even worse with plastic cuttlery!! There is a cement works next door so there are constantly lorries driving past, and everything was dusty from their loads of concrete. The dining chairs are held together by metal plates but...

"This Chalet is fantastic and Massimo was really helpful. Very cosy, clean and beautifully presented. Photos don’t do it justice. We slept well every night and had everything we needed for one Dad and 4 young adults. Parking was convenient and we were within easy driving reach of the slopes. The skiing in Cervinia was superb 😊👍"
