Several attractions are currently closed for renovation, so check first if you have something specific in mind to visit. I recommend going to a few of the excellent little coffee shops and trying Swedish specialities like prinsesstorta and dammsugare

It's not a flashy city with skylines and all that but it's busy and very alive. It just feels good and the people are friendly and welcoming. It has been such a nice experience that I am going back as soon as I can arrange it.
