The Ulsan Hyanggyo is a public local educational institution from the Joseon Era (1392-1897). The structure includes Daeseongjeon (Confucian shrine), Myeongryundang (lecture hall), Dongmu and Seomu (east and west Shrines), Dongjae and Seojae (east and west dormitories), Cheongwonru (two story front gate) and an inner gate. Furthermore, an adjacent walled compound has a caretake'rs house and additional dormitory rooms.

The Ulsan Hyanggyo is a public local educational institution from the Joseon Era (1392-1897). The structure includes a Confucian shrine, sage shrines, gates, lecture hall, and dormitories. Cheongwonru is the front gate to the hyanggyo. The gate roof is hipped and gabled with double eaves above an open second level that was used as a study area by the Confucian scholars at the school.

The Ulsan Hyanggyo is a public local educational institution from the Joseon Era (1392-1897). Structures include a Confucian shrine, sage shrines, gates, lecture hall, and dormitories. The Confucian shrine hall, Daeseongjeon, is dedicated to Confucius (552-479 B.C.). Daeseongjeon has a gabled roof with a wing-like bracket style.
