"I last stayed here more than 4 years ago and it was okay. Since then they have improved beyond measure. Extensive expansion, a new restaurant and much more professional. It is at the highest end of budget, delivers fantastic value in a good but quiet location and the service was brilliant - especially from Shakira and Angel. If I am ever in the area I would definitely choose Banda Lodge for value, ambience and service. And the Swedish beef/potato/egg thing on the menu is delicious!"

Ingen andre gæster og personalet var ikke opsøgende ift. at tilbyde ture mv. - Døren til toilettet kunne ikke lukkes (hverken i vores eget rum eller ved restauranten). "The facilities are new and beautiful. They overlook the small crater lake Munyanyange which hosts birds year round and lesser flamingoes in July/August. The staff are excellent. The chef is superb! Very close to a gate for Queen Elizabeth. Staff helpful in arranging tours and walks as desired. An up and coming location, I believe. It can be hard to find initially as Google maps doesn’t have the back roads of Katwe, only the main road. If a sign goes down, you will need to ask directions...

"My stay at Gorilla Valley Lodge was wonderful. The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating, and the gardens and properties are beautiful with views overlooking the forest (including the mountain where we did our gorilla trek!). The restaurant area sits atop a hill overlooking a valley with 360 views of the mountains and scenery. The entire property is very peaceful and the restaurant served a three-course meal every evening. The rooms were clean with little welcoming touches when we arrived....
