The management of the property is excellent, they answered all my questions effectively and tried to help with any inconvenience, so five stars for them. However, the bed is as hard as a rock; my back is still recovering, and I had to buy a 30 mattress topper to get some sleep. Did you hear about memory foam? The studio is very dark, so I had to have the lights on during the day. You will have hot water in the shower for 3 min.The property is a mosquito farm (it's surrounded by jungle), and I never saw anybody fumigating. The first night, mosquitoes destroyed my arms, inside the studio. Once I invested in a room insecticide, I was safe inside but anytime I passed in the restaurant, pool, or just sitting outside mosquitoes attacked me. The working space is used by everyone to make loud calls, many of them not work-related, so it's not very work-friendly. Aflora (as all the other vacation residences) should have shuttles transporting people to/from the beaches. Stop plotting with the taxi mafia (a taxi driver told me they negotiate the price of a ride with the hotel), which asks for 450 pesos to go to the beach (7 min ride) and the double to come back as you have no other choice. They don’t have meters and the price you pay is by feeling. No public transportation (for tourists).Don’t visit Tulum for more than a couple of hours when you stay in Cancun, it's not worth it.Beaches are not free, you pay the government or the bars and restaurants to let you in.
