"This is my third time staying at Kapok and one of the things I love the most is the breakfast and the ladies that work in the breakfast section... The rooms are fine and the beds are comfy. The Balcony is cool, I like to sit out there though it faces the street. It does seem like it's a bit of an older hotel, but it's fine. I think one thing is that some of the front desk people could be friendlier. It was my third year I knew I had to wait for a room for early check in, and even longer this...

"My husband and I went for a night while in Trinidad for some quiet time. This was perfect especially with the pool and hot tub. We will visit again on our next trip from the states. "

"The staff is kind, thoughtful, and knowledgeable. This is a small group of cabins on the side of a rainforestountain with natural pools and a 100 year old main house recently renovated. The food was delicious and healthy. But most of all, the staff was so generous when we were late for meal or needed help with the layout of the grounds. It's a place of magic and stillness. "

"We got another apartment than we booked, and when we checked in, the whole apartment stank of dogs and was full of dog hairs. The kitchen and especially fridge was very mouldy and dirty and the overall impression of the place was not good with dogs barking all night leaving no sleep. Not even with earplugs. The whole area and especially their own dogs was extremely loud. We adressed these issues to the owner who tried to accomodate us but didnt help. We checked out early to find a better place"
