Dejligt feriested
Dejligt Resort med mange faciliteter. Lidt afstand fra byen men mulighed for gratis shuttlebus flere gange dagligt. Mange af faciliteterne for børn koster penge, hvilket er lidt ærgerligt. Der var ikke mulighed for at låne en fodbold, da personalet ikke kunne finde en pumpe til den flade fodbold. Bordtennis koster penge at benytte i en time - lidt øv. Omgivelserne er helt fantastiske.

Reportet er lidt slidt - rent og pænt men flere ting fungerede ikke. Toilettet kunne ikke trække ud men det blev fikset hurtigt. Til gengæld bad jeg to gange om at få repareret aircondition sim dryppede rigtig meget vand. Det blev aldrig repareret så sov uden aircondition. Mad fin, pool fin, rent. Men personsketvi receptionen var ikke specielt imødekommende.

Flot hotel med mange aktiviteter
Lækkert hotel. Maden dyr, men rimelig ift stedet. Man kan dog sagtens gå ned i byen for at spise, kræver dog en gåtur på 25-30 min. Hver vej.

afslappende og behagelig stemning
perfekt med et resort som sætter kunden i centrum og holder sig væk når man ikke har brug for dem. Vi var på bryllupsrejse og havde en dejlig ferie på resortet. Der var rig mulighed for at komme til den nærliggende by Tekek, hvilket dog er overflødigt når resortet har alt man behøver.

Lækkert sted - Nok bedst, hvis man har børn
Stedets beliggenhed er super lækker, og der et rig mulighed for at gemme sig som par der vil nyde stranden lidt i fred. Det store pool-område er meget henvendt til børne familier, men langs stranden findes mange strandstole (gratis), hvor man kan finde lidt ro :-) Der udbydes en snorkel-tur på ca. 4 timer, hvor man får tre 'dyk' á 45 min., hvilket var fantastisk - vi så både kæmpe havskilpadder og hajer! Spiseområdet er lidt stort og buffet-(u)hyggeligt, men til aftensmaden findes en særskilt restaurant med thailandsk og indisk mad - rigtig god kvalitet!!

Berjaya Tioman Beach resort - ligger nærmest på stranden og med regnskoven i baghaven. Fantastisk sted at slappe af, svømme, snorkle, dykke eller vandre en tur gennem regnskoven.

There was only one reception staff at all times, and she was slow and unfriendly. You can't have a quiet meal at the restaurant because birds fly in trying to get your food. Also, the food is not very tasty. Even if you want to go out to eat outside the hotel, it is very inconvenient as it is a long walk and there is no means of transportation. The room is clean, but there are a lot of ants and it feels unclean. All the staff were very kind and friendly, but considering the price and balance, this is not a hotel I can recommend.

We are coming to Berjaya already for years. This time we were not informed before that they had a fire. So the big swimming pool and restaurant were not available. They only let us know when it was to late to change our plan. So we were paying for something that we did not get. Staff were friendly as always. Food could be better for the price they ask. Breakfast was oke.

Staff and service culture (and prices) are completely out of whack and we strongly recommend avoiding this place until they improve. Examples: * Staff told us to 'come here' to order food and drinks - not a problem usually but they charge more than at home at this 'resort' which is supposed to be top class for the island. * Breakfast was generally very mediocre - poor selection. Coffee machine not working? Come back tomorrow morning. Need a spoon? It's over there, ferenghi. Fruit juices on the menu? We have two of the seven listed. * the kicker: We were sat in the Chinese restaurant trying to get a healthy option (US $65 minimum or so for two...every single meal came in around these prices), when a guitarist and singer came in to sing at us. Not our thing - not by a long shot. When we asked them to leave us alone directly and specifically and clearly - they smiled at us and kept singing. When we asked the waiter to ask them, he smiled and said it was 'impossible'. We actually got up, walked out, and sat outside in the heat until they left. This resort is to be avoided unless you want that kind of thing all the time. I have lived in villages and had a career in development things, and this trip literally was intended as my post-surgery "I survived a big disease thing" reward trip with my gf. We came away more tired than when we arrived and happy to get out. And much poorer for the experience.

Disappointed.
Had stayed at Berjaya Tioman some years back and enjoyed it. We decided to go back and take a short break of 4 days and 3 nights. We decided to spend a bit more and booked 2 sea view rooms. The rooms were large and pleasant. Then a fire broke out and engulfed the main restaurant and we were woken up by the commotion about 3am and had to be evacuated to the lobby of the hotel till 6 am plus. The staff did well in helping the guests get comfortable as they started assigning us alternative rooms. We were then approached and offered alternative rooms, which we were glad to take as we were tired by then. Unfortunately, they turned out to be standard rooms at the back of the property, supposedly a temporary arrangement. We understand that the hotel may have its limitations and may not have other sea view rooms to offer us. But since we had already paid for the more expensive rooms, the least the hotel could do was to reimburse us with the difference or with a meal or activity voucher. Even though we brought this up to the reception, nothing came out of it. Anyway, we decided to let it rest. Rooms: the sea view rooms are nice, not the standard rooms which are worn. Food: the restaurant food were quite average, not 'restaurant standard.' Snorkelling: you can snorkel in front of the hotel but you need to go past the dead corals and rocks. Staff: they were generally polite and helpful but management needs improvement and better understanding of the hospitality industry.

Magnifique !
Super séjour dans cet hôtel, les activités proposées sont sympa et le cadre et magnifique ! Avis aux amateurs de farniente, vous allez aimer les deux piscines proposées par l'hôtel, et la plage attenante, vous aurez du choix ! Aussi, 3 restaurents différents et un petit dej buffet pour tous les goûts, un service de location de scooter pour se promener le long de la côte, bref un séjour génial.
