"Shower was a bit tricky to figure out but once I cracked the code it was great. Very little support as far as a front desk. Never figured out the water taxi. A nice walk to and from town and always felt safe. You do have to rely on Uber if you need a ride to train station etc. "

However housekeeping is poor, lots of cobwebs/dustwebs, no towels for main bedroom and rubbish in garden.
Would be fabulous with more attention to housekeeping."

"Locating the property was a problem as no number was provided and this was not apparent until we were on the site. A quick phone call to the owner resolved the issue and fortunately he was by his phone. Other than that it was a lovely place, well equipped and in a stunning position by the river. "

"Amazing family friendly hotel. Lots of features that you usually wouldn't think about, like a built in toddler seat on the toilet and finger protectors on the door hinges, that just make so much sense. Staff were all very friendly too."

"As a single disabled woman with a little dog, i have felt safe and comfortable here. The staff are fantastic. The rooms are clean and spacious. The location is quiet and beautiful. The other hotel guests are quiet. There is a lovely atmosphere. I have a bath tub. The grounds are lovely. The outside of the property is stunning and old. Inside is very modern. Huge car park. You do have to pay.... but the vost of stay is such good value... it doesnt matter. "
