The check was so simple even in the dark at a very late hour

The service the following morning was 2nd to none and the food , presentation was perfect and so tasty .
The gardens were so pretty , wild but very well maintained.
Coedy was so lovely as were all the staff ... i loved the open plan kitchen area !

Attention to detail at every level, we ate at the restaurant for two nights food was excellent as was the breakfast.
The rooms are tasteful well appointed, comfy bed and excellent bathroom.
Without exception every member of staff were friendly, attentive, polite and made us feel relaxed.

Very tranquil location so the town isn't really walkable unless you are super fit although only minutes from town in a car. But the hotel more than made up for that. "A fabulous hotel. We had a very warm welcome and the owners couldnt do enough to accommodate us.
The room was beautifully decorated , clean and comfortable.
Nice big mugs for tea and coffee aand spares in the corridor if needed which was a thoughtful touch.
The breakfast was continental (cooked only available on the Sunday morning) but was sufficient and nicely presented.
