"The stay experience exceeded all expectations. Room was incredibly clean; bed was comfortable just the way we like it as if we are at home. "The biggest issue was that it was so so loud. When the neighbour room flushed sounded like it was right by you. When people talked outside it sounded like they were in your room. The bed and pillow was not comfortable for me. Everything was old, the hairdryer was useless and cleaning wasnt really good. And we got a packed breakfast because we had to leave early which was a nice gesture problem was it waa one bun for two people and two fruits. Pretty small packed breakfast. "

"This place was so cute! A little inn tucked away at the eve of the Lijiang Ancient town. So well maintained by a family I think, and the complementary breakfast was so quaint and prepared by the managers mother I think. To get here you have to climb some steep olden times stairs, so if you do need help the staff are incredibly helpful here. The external doors are locked late but worth asking when as we had a wedding and had to wake the manager to let us in - we felt very sheepish after that!"

"Given the price point of the inn, I would say that it was reasonably value for money. A big downside is the paper-thin walls which meant that we could hear the noise of the neighbouring guests very clearly. Otherwise the location of the inn is pretty good - near the northern entrance of Shuhe, in a quiet but accessible location."
