"We had a wonderful stay at the Shandaken Inn - it really exceeded our expectations. The property is lovely and the inn is extremely well maintained and comfortable. Everything you need is right there. The outdoor dining area looks out to the open space and the surrounding mountains. We loved sitting around the fire pit later in the evening and enjoyed meeting other guests as well. The food was great - breakfast choices were abundant and dinner was delicious. "Great vibe, but the Inn is quite old and noise travels. Luckily we were the only ones staying there. Other visitors had booked cabins. But when they come for morning coffee, they can be heard quite clearly. The manager is friendly and responsive. The bartender is top notch. The morning coffee is quite good as are the cookies! Overall, nice relaxing stay. "
