"The staff made our experience fabulous. Everyone we met was helpful, friendly and accommodating. I am disabled and needed to use a mobility scooter to get around, nothing was too much bother. The first room was difficult to access for me, we informed reception and were seamlessly and quickly moved to another room. "An 8 day stay. Welcoming staff. Dark and rather dismal room with no drawers, safe, mini fridge, towel racks or comfortable chairs. Lack of hoovering and dusting in our room. Fantastic situation. Free parking."

"Nice hotel in great location with the beach just opposite and a 10 min walk to Tynemouth center :) Service in bar / restaurant were perfect - but there finding a healthy breakfast option is close to impossible. I’m keeping low on kolesterol - but thats hard with that breakfast. So had a plain youghurt and nothing else. Perhaps a porridge would be an easy, healthy and cheap solution? Waiters were kind & attentive :)"

"I have stayed here many times and the property and staff are excellent. In room facilities are what you need and no frills, food including breakfast in the restaurant is fresh and tasty and the free extensive car park is really useful. I thoroughly recommend this hotel. "

"An overnight stay needed before a uni offer day at Durham., I just wish we could have stayed longer. Clean, comfortable, everything you could possibly need and the views ! Hopefully the uni offer will be accepted and I can stay again for a while longer !"
