"Lovely big room & big bed, plus plenty of parking. Great food & wine too."

"Really nice hotel, definitely worth a stay on a roadtrip. It has the nicest and most helpful staff you'll find and such great spaces to relax. Only reason that we don't give it 5 stars is that the shower was a tricky one."

"Suited my needs perfectly!! The room was small but adequate for me as a single traveller for an overnight stay. The hosts are helpful and accommodating. There is a fridge and a microwave in the room which proved useful and the bed was comfortable. The shared bathroom was pristine with a walk in shower.

"Ligger skønt i Dartmoor. Vi havde et fint værelse. Kun koldt vand til bad. 😵‍💫 blev byttet ud med super værelse. Opgraderet. Fornemt. Lækker morgenmad. Vi nød opholdet. 🌞"

"Very comfortable bed, nice big window, decent sized room with good facilities. The owner was very happy to help with fresh milk delivered and good suggestions for local food places."

"Such a beautiful, beautiful place in a lovely setting. Such attention to detail, the furnishings, the gardens and sitting areas not to mention the wonderful breakfast that was served. Our host could not have been more helpful or pleasant. We hated that we could only stay one night. Hopefully we can return one day !"

"Hotel does need some maintenance doing, our room had some damp in a patch in corner. flakey paint on wall in bathroom. At breakfast there was a bulb going in the main light which was flashing all the time we were having breakfast. Fire exit handle was broken in restaurant and fire extinguisher needs looking at. Food at breakfast was very nice 👍"
